You thought Sonic at the Women's World Darts Championship was strange....

Well ladies and gentlemen, those were nothing, they could not prepare you for the horror and the randomness that is...

Bollywood hating Sonic with a creepy demonic drug dealing voice the hedgehog!

What do we learn?

We learn that Sonic doesn't like Bollywood/Hindi movies. He thinks they're Stupid.

He wants you to have FUN playing Sega!

He will destroy your TV and room when you play on your Sega!

He sounds like he's dealing drugs at the end "Hey kid! Want some more?"

He wants you to.... UNLOCK YOUR MIND!

And finally... some guy named Shawn Wallace is going to sell you your Sega

Well... I for one have a sudden urge to buy a SEGA! what about you lot?

...And I thought I had seen the craziest SEGA ads of the nineties, but no, SEGA of the nineties will never cease to amaze me with the insanity of their commercials.
You know what I say? We should have more game commercials like this nowadays, simply for the fact that back then, they were so ridiculous, it was awesome.

This was probably done in early '93 since there's some gameplay for World of Illusion which came out in December '92. Plus this is the second time Sonic actually spoke, first time being a JPN ad for Sonic 1.
