Guys, I'd just like to once again personally thank you all for taking part in Sonic Relief 2009 and making it such a success. I know it's an overused phrase, but I truly couldn't have done it without you...!
Anyway, I've seen a few people speculating about future Sonic Relief developments and as Shadzter has said a post or so above this, he and I are very much up for doing another fundraising drive such as this in the future - we've got a couple of things in mind (which will remain unannounced for the moment!) but in order to make things bigger and better we want some ideas from YOU.
You're the ones who'd be entering/donating so obviously we'd like to know what you'd want to do to raise cash for charity. There's been a couple of suggestions already, such as a dance contest, but I'm sure others have some good ideas too. Let us know, you may well see it happen...!
One of the ideas I've currently had is to do a SSMB charity single - members could team up to write the lyrics, write the music, play the instruments and sing the vocals! Obviously it's a little more complex than that but it's only a rough concept at the moment.
So, let us know what you would like to potentially do should Sonic Relief ever gloriously return!

Ah now Mr Skillz, this is all backwards my friend.
I think everyone here should be personally thanking you, Shadzter and the other donators for giving us creative sonicy minds an oppertunity to do something for comic relief. As good as the outcome was there should have been MORE! Come on sonic fanbase, i KNOW we have more creative minds between us than most other fanbases put together. So I cant wait for the next one, this was the warm up round and I'm looking forward to trying to whip up something a bit more special.
Also thanks for choosing my comic as highlight material. I'm sure of all us are joined here in looking at our entries and thinking "damnit, next time im gonna do better."
The concepts you have are good but as far as getting mass involvement goes I think sticking with current forumula of submitting anything funny and sonic would be more successful than trying to make a single, as cool as that would be.
Then again, im sure theres no reason there can be both!
Would be good if materials submitted were exclusive to your sonic relief cause, i.e. not also posted on personal deviantarts etcs. Not that theres anything wrong with that (before i get battered) but exclusiveness is always a nice thing for an event such as this.
Guess thats it. Thanks for making a thread i actually wanted to partake in, im not really into all the bickering and nitpicking that comes with most other topics.
WELL DONE
