I've stuck my preorder in for the Exclusive version. Figured having #75 of 350 sounded a bit better than #75 of 1500. Either way, he'll go very nicely with the 12" Sonic that I got last year.

Okay, so I've ordered the regular Sonic statue now. When that comes to the door I'll get it's number and make sure I get the same number for this new one.

I feel like such a geek >.>. But thing is, I never get merch like this. Ever. I only buy the games, and special editions of said games if they exist . I'd be giving this a miss if it wasn't part of a series. That's why I never got the first one... until now.

This statue is so sexual that I'm officially declaring myself to have two birthdays so I can get one for its release. If the Queen can do it, SO CAN I.

In all seriousness, the first one in the series looks much, much better in person than in the photos. Sort of amazes me how he stands on his little spindly legs with the huge head used in the sculpt. The statues are also much bigger than you expect them to be from the photos, and the level of detail on them is astounding. The light up detail on the exclusive version is also a nice added touch. £130 posted is a lot to ask for at the moment, mind... Will have to (begrudgingly!) wait it out for now and see what happens.

Good to see Super Sonic is getting a whole lot more attention than before, both merchandise AND game-wise... 'Cause it was pretty much rare to see him pre-Unleashed/Brawl, what with him being stuck to the final boss every time. I'm really glad it's not the case anymore now.
