SEGA has released a trailer for the iPhone/iPod Touch version of Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1. The trailer has been posted exclusively at Yahoo Games’ Appolicious website and shows gameplay footage from Splash Hill Zone, Casino Street Zone and Mad Gear Zone. Appolicious confirms that this version of the game will include online leaderboards, just like the console versions. Still no price confirmd for the U.S. and Europe, unfortunately.

The hell? Since when do S4 trailers use music from the game, show clips of gameplay more the 1 second long and not have awful intros?

They forgot Lost Labyrinth:lol: The camera turning in loops looks annoying. I liked the trailer, though. I liked Sonic pushing the iPhone away. I dunno why.

And this is the first time we've heard Casino Street and Mad Gear music officially, isn't it?

That trailer was much better than the trailers we have had before (stupid intro), I loved seeing Sonic running around with grabbing those iPhones so cute :). Gotta get my dad to download this for his iPhone this week so I can go on it a few days early so I can calm my hype meter down a bit :D.

Yeah, E3 iPhone footage showed this. Looks cool, but I think it would make my eyes dizzy when playing :lol:

Holy piss, that's actually a pretty good trailer. I mean, it's not perfect, but it's miles better than any of the ones we've had before now. They put in effort and everything!

I know it's probably a bit disorienting when you're actually playing, but I think the screen rotating with each loop is a pretty cool effect. I can imagine things getting pretty unpleasant for anyone falling off a loop halfway because they didn't build up enough momentum, though. Ugh.

The game (iPhone ver) is out in 3 days, and the console version (Wii, US) will be out in 7 days. There's hardly even any part in the second update now.

Ken mentioned he was going to make an iPhone trailer and also said he would do an all-zones console one. We've got the iPhone one, so maybe this means we'll definitely see that all-zones one too.

that trailer is an official SEGA Trailer, how ever it wasn't shown by SEGA,

their for, when Ruby Announces the iphone trailer and puts it into SEGAofAmerica You tube page, you can put up your complains.

any how, i think we will get update part 2 when the iphone version is released.

the game is coming in 4 days, can't wait to see how the iphone version plays on you tube :)

I don´t think this will happen with the game being released in just a few days.

It would be nice though if they still did since it would make the wait still a little bit nicerl! :)

Looks slick! DLing this day one and hope to have a review up on SEGAbits/Nomad Junkyard before Monday. B)

Spinning screen for loops is fine by me considering it's only on the iPhone version.

The spinning actually reminds me of the rotating screen as seen in act 1 of Palmtree Panic

As others have said, the whole screen spinning with every loop is massively jarring. @_@

Will be getting this ASAP for my iPod touch though, shame I have work the same day. Fingers crossed it'll be up first thing in the morning, since I don't have work until noon.

But you'll rush through the game, and on an inferior version no less. The least you can do is wait until you're back from work before playing, or better yet wait for the Wii/360 versions

I know, I'm still irritated that the iPod/ iPhone version is coming first, to be honest. It's such an un-epic way to kick-start the launch. Wish the HD version was first.

Impatience is forcing me to get it. :<

Upon watching the Trailer again, I just suddently remembered all these "Music Collection CD Ads" we had over here from TimeLife. It feels like a greatest Hits trailer when you blend out the Video! ^^

About the Trailer itself, it´s very good, I especially like how Sonic pushes the iPhone away, gives it a nice (cute) touch. ^^
