True True...but what he does have against Mario Galaxy is multi plat release (360 and PS3). If Sonic 2006 can sell decent any great Sonic game can or likely more.

Its going to be pretty interesting...I think a tad below Mario Galaxy 2 sales with combined sales is possible. To tell you the truth depending on the reception it can go either way.

Well to be honest, Sonic 06 had a lot of hype building up to it. Plenty of people thought it was going to be really good. Heck, it was practically showing off Sonic Adventure 3 in a badass kind of way. They ended up being very disappointed. However, even now people are still buying the game, for reasons such as "I heard this game sucks, but it's cheap and I wanna try it anyway 4 da lulz"

SEGA should really announce the real release date at the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX)...

Why? They should announced the release date whenever. What significance does PAX have?

I see the Special Edition listed on GAME UKs website, Xbox 360 version for £37.99 and PS3 version £39.99. No boxart and no info as to what this special edition had that the normal edition doesn't have.

I see the Special Edition listed on GAME UKs website, Xbox 360 version for £37.99 and PS3 version £39.99. No boxart and no info as to what this special edition had that the normal edition doesn't have.

I guess i'm going to cancel my pre-order of the regular edition and pre-order the special one, now. :D Even before i know what it is.

It also says that it's 115 days away from release.

Well, at least it's listed there. It's a bit lame however. Hopefully it's more than just the Casino Night and XBL downloads. You know, a special box and maybe a figures, art book and such.

I thought Casino Night and the avatar/themes were part of the pre-order deal. Not the special edition. :huh:

I wonder why the PS3 version is £7 dearer than the standard game. Maybe something did come of that internal memo about Sony getting some exclusive content?

Sony did say that they like doing exclusive content. Hope they don't do anything with Generations since it wouldn't be fair. And since the 360 version is the better looking/stable version. :P And i'm getting that version...

It would be Fair.

Exclusives.

Sonic Colours = Wii

Sonic Free Riders = 360

And we're also talking full games vs something like levels or power ups.

However it is the anniversary. So yeah......

If the PS3 version gets an exclusive version what not with the 360 I'm buying both the PS3 Special Edition and the 360 Special Edition if they are differant versions of it XD heck it's not like it's the first time of me buying other versions of the same game before :P.

Are you sure it wasn't just talking about the 3DS version and special stages? I really hope that the two console versions don't have seperate exclusives. Why give each version an exclusive, when you could just give it to both versions? :angry:

But, whatever happened to that source from Spain, I think it was? It was substancially more expensive. Like a 100 something bucks. So it's just 67 dollars+ tax in Puerto Rico?
