I mothered and disciplied my chao to become the best racers. I was acting it out and all. Was I ashamed...not really it was funny my bros and I had many laughs. Was I sad refelcting upon this...yes. My chao reminded me of myself constantly being pushed.

Oh boy, it's a fangirl's time to shine.
Lets see..
- I'm against SonAmy stuff, I really dislike Amy ( if not hate her) and I cant picture Sonic with anyone, really;
- I suport Knuckles x Rouge, cmon they were adorable/awesome in games, always with their little quarrels;
- I find Sonic adorable;
- For some reason I find Sonic's ears adorable, and I go all "B'AAAAWWW" whenever he runs and the ears wiggle with the wind, its just adorable ;_;
- I actualy loved Sonic Unleashed, I think it was a great game aside from the werehog stages and pixar looking npc's;
- I literaly go apeshit when I see anything Sonic related selling, can go from running at high speed through a crowded store, to sending my money flying off the wallet because I have the insane need to have it (been a sonic fantard for so long..);
- I used to make fancharacters when I was younger, most people bash the idea but i thought it was fun xD No fanfictions though;
- I like to draw myself with Sonic from time to time, you know that typical fan stuff, running with Sonic, etc;
- I know all the Sonic Adventure 2 lines, of all characters (aaaahhgh);
- I actualy liked Sonic Underground, most people hated it because it had nothing to do with the games, but at the time I was so small I wouldnt get a thing about it, it was just fun to watch;
- I like Silver, though I don't think this is shamefull, I think people just hate him mindlessly because he had the unfortunate luck to appear on a shit game;
- I think Sonic 1 is too overrated and Sonic 2 is just meh, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a marterpiece though, love that game to pieces;
And that's it! Most of them aren't shamefull secrets but they sure are bashed by a lot of people, inside and outside the fandom, so I guess its enough.

Yea... back to topic, I thought buying Sonic '06 was a waste of time. Even though the game had an interesting storyline, it had a lot of down sides.The game was glitchy, the gameplay was awful, Sonic was WAY too slow on the normal sections of his stages, the characters were automatically switched during the level (sometimes I can't figure out the reason why the characters changed anyways
), and worst of all, after all your efforts, the somewhat wonderful story line gets negated in the end... Leaving no trace, except the stages, to be used in other games.

I'm sorry, but I think you got those mixed up. Sonic 3 & Knuckles is the overrated one. That's just my opinion, but unlike S3&K, I never hear anyone CONSTANTLY say that Sonic 1 is their favorite Sonic game.- I think Sonic 1 is too overrated and Sonic 2 is just meh, Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a marterpiece though, love that game to pieces;

I own both versions of Sonic 06. I got the 360 version on release day and I got the PS3 version this year brand new and sealed. The game is such a disaster and I purposly brought it on PS3 for the worst version and for playing through it with a friend.

Dang, where do I even begin with my own shameful secrets?
I guess I could start by saying I used to be a crazy SonAmy fan. I resented the comics because I couldn't stand Sally and her relationship with Sonic in them but I kept reading them anyway. Tbh I still feel sorta feel the same about Archie Sonic but for a handful of different reasons besides those two, I stopped reading maybe three years ago. I hear it's gotten a lot better since then but I still don't have much interest in picking them back up again.
I used to make really poorly drawn comics and really, really bad fanfiction complete with terrible recolor fancharacters (none of it made it to the internet though, thank god). When I was obsessed with Shadow in middle school a lot of those comics and fics revolved around him. In one of the comics Shadow's evil recolor brother pretty much mutilated Sonic and the rest of the main cast (besides Shadow of course) with a chainsaw. I can't remember very much aside from trying too hard to make them edgy and funny.
While we're on the topic of Shadow, I really enjoyed the Shadow the Hedgehog game. If I had to choose I'd probably put it in my top 5 favorite Sonic games. I thought it was a fun game and it was sorta interestimng to see a bit of a darker Sonic game even though it DID try too hard to be dark. Who's bright idea was it to add swearing in a Sonic game? Aside from that and a few other things I didn't find it that bad, and I thought the use of guns/vechicles was kind of neat even though it was pretty useless. But then again I haven't played it in years so I don't know what kind of opinion I'd have on it now, aha.
Though I don't know if this is a particularly bad thing after ShadowTH I stopped playing Sonic for a couple years, so I've never experienced Sonic's really bad games, I didn't pick the series back up until Generations.
Hmm... lastly I'll just say that I taped every single episode of Sonic X, and I probably know most of the lines from Sonic Adventure 2 by heart.

Well, I have a few myself.
1. I like Silver and think he is waaay underrated. It infuriates me whenever I see somebody say that all he does is whine and that he's a "retarded" character. All I have to say is that, in regards to Sonic, let's see you live in a literal hell-hole and not whine every now and then. Really, I dare you to even sit in a sauna for an hour and not whine. I think he'd have every right to whine, hell, I'm surprised he didn't just cry every five minutes (I would have for sure). What also infuriates me is that SEGA made him a Flight type character. Okay, I know that not every character is fast, but still, his design just kind of seems like one that you'd see being called "The Silver Blur". When people say he's too slow, I want so badly to picture Shadow (not that there's anything wrong with him, I like him too) without his fancy shoes. Plus, I'd like to think that he could technically go insanely fast, ironically by flying.
2. I actually really liked Sonic 06. Not only did it give me my favorite character with the a very interesting design, but, aside from all the characters being slow, I found that the story was very engaging. Granted, looking back, I'll admit there were many plot-holes, but still, at least it reset itself so the plot holes were non existent. Not only that, but, and this isn't really shameful, considering the game was praised for it, I liked the music a lot, and I loved the levels too. In fact, I wish that SEGA would've made a sequel to it set in the same town area, as I really liked it, but to fix a few things.
3. Speaking of 06, I also found the romance between Elise and Sonic to be...interesting. Granted, I think it would've been more acceptable if the character were another hedgehog, but still, at least she wasn't as violent as Amy is nowadays >_>
4. I can't say I "support" Sonamy, but they are more canon than anything. Personally, I would support it more if Amy wasn't so violent like she is today, and more cutesy flirty like in the Adventure days. However, I do support Silvaze without a doubt. Why? When you live in a living hell, you're lucky to find somebody to talk to, and I think that Silver might've been harboring more than just feelings of friendship for Blaze. However, I also find it sort of "forbidden", as since 06 technically never happened, they never met until Colors DS (Or possibly Riders, depends on off screen discussions), and I kind of relate to it, as I find myself thinking, whenever I look at a girl I had a crush on in life, if we were ever together in another life. Other than that, Kuxouge or Shadouge are sort of okay, though I'd rather see Rouge flirt and tease with Knuckles to get him embarrassed.
5. I never really liked the Archie series, or the cartoons. I know, I'm a moron now, but I just couldn't find myself to like it, since I knew that they never appeared in games, and thus weren't canon to the actual series (No offense to those who actually like it, it's just not my cup of tea). Ironically, I wouldn't mind if SEGA had taken Scourge and Fiona from the comics and put them in games, but just those two.
6. Honestly, even though Shadow is an okay character in my book, I think he's a bit overrated. Oh sure, he was epic in SA2, where he actually had meaning to his life and held on to it to the bitter end, but I found that since his revival, he's gone downhill. I was infuriated especially about the very last cutscene in his game, where he just threw away his past. No, I don't want Shadow yelling "Maria!" every 5 minutes, but still, that kind of just felt...unsettling. Ironically, if he were to stick with his personality in Free Riders, I'd be cool with it (It's actually kind of funny, and I could see him being a "jack of all trades"). But still, I think that they should calm down on his appearances, and let Silver have a little limelight, yes, even if it were a game with Sonic and Silver playable, I would rather him sit out for that one.
7. I have several fan characters which I admit are ridiculously overpowered, but I can't find myself to reduce them ;A;
8. I'm addicted to Love is Worth a Chance, both versions. Seriously, its embarrassing, but I can't help but enjoy it and sing with the person very passionately. As a matter of fact, I wish that it had somehow become more popular than just in-game music, so that way I could sing it at a karaoke bar one day XD
and let the flames of hell begin...
9. I honestly don't enjoy the classic games. I enjoyed Sonic Advanced, ironically, but not Sonic 1-3, CD, or even the new Sonic 4. I guess it's something you have to grow up with, but still. I guess my main reason is that, being Advanced was my first game, I just like more characters being available. I mean, yeah you have Tails and Knuckles, but still, it seemed...lifeless to me. I don't know why I think this, considering that many believe that the classics were the pinnacle of the franchise, but without interactions with other characters, it's just a story about a blue hedgehog harassing an old fat man trying to give mech suits to the local wildlife JK on that part. But I hope I'm making sense... I'm a fan of the cheesy "friendship" stories you often see in games or anime, which is why I like more characters, more interaction, something that the classics couldn't really give me.
And finally...
10. I liked Generations, but I think the only reason it was so popular is because of Classic Sonic being in it and Modern Sonic being able to run extremely fast through levels of the past. There just wasn't as good of a story to it as other games, and ironically, it had a bigger plot hole than 06 did: If Classic knew about all of the things in the future, wouldn't that have altered time...like...A LOT? That would mean he would've known about every character he would ever meet in the future (minus a few like Marine), and a lot more I can't really think of right now, but it's just that kind of stuff that makes me wonder how Mighty the Armadillo didn't suddenly appear in the crowd after time was fixed. Am I making sense here?

As for my Secret. I love the Archie comics (ALOT of people hate them because of BAWWWW ORIGINAL CHARACTERS!) And I like Shadow the hedgehog (game) and Silver the hedgehog.

Okay, SEGA Forums, yeah, I only stay there because some users are nice, but sometimes they're not nice at all... I'm glad my anti flamming policy has kept me interacting well with the users.
Shameful secrets... uh, recent one:
After I discovered TV Tropes, I have been having a ridiculous compulsion in organizing every single portrait of the Sonic series characters based on their roles, their characterization and their interactions with the cast...
I also watched every single cutscene in the series since Sonic Adventure only to get characterization and relationships right. I also become every time more and more interested on how fiction works, what is subtext, how things are implied, how emotional connections are made and portrayed to the spectators, that also made me extremely accurate in detecting and pointing hidden subtext in movies and other games, I guess I become too traumatized with OOC fanfics...
I found SonicxAmy cute in Sonic X... (oh come on, you did too)
Then I though that Game Sonic could really be gay, implied, but officially gay.
Now after seeing every single cut-scene of the canon games ever, discovering TV Tropes, and mastering the rules of how fiction is created, at least its how it seems to me based on interactions, subtext, presentation of scenes and all of that complex crap that makes things happen in television...my current interpretation of Sonic's characterization tells me that he and Blaze might have an implied crush for each other since Sonic Rush (that ending), some scenes in later games doesn't help making it feel less true... fuck TV tropes and my obsession with in-characterness by the way...
Moving on from my obsession with TV Tropes and Sonic's gayness, I always found music from Sonic games to be totally awesome, Black Knight? Awesome soundtrack. '06? amazing. Rush? one of my favorites. and I always show it to my friends, especially some select songs from Crush 40, I present as if was some obscure 80's rock band that happens to write songs for games, of course they all love it, and yeah, my media player is stuffed with Sonic Series Soundtrack.
I'm not afraid to say I love playing Sonic games, and I talk like the classics were the best and most culturally rich thing ever, then I slowly transition to the modern games, people don't seem to see Sonic as a childish game here in Brazil at least... it's quite a respected franchiese really.
I think Sonic Rush Adventure is the perfect Sonic game, literally flawless, Characters, Music, Story, Gameplay, Level design, Graphics, there is not a single thing I can complain about it. above all the classics, quite ironic since it's a game developed by Dimps.
I also enjoyed Sonic '06, especially the Soundtrack, AMAZING. And the epic atmosphere, how I wish the new games had that atmosphere... the gameplay is pretty fun when it's fixed, I have the Xbox Live demo (which is far more polished than the final version) and it's very fun to play as Sonic, I also fucking love Kingdom Valley.
I also liked the idea of having Sonic with a more epic storyline... a shame that the execution was so shitty...
I am averse to out of character shipping (which leaves us with pretty much no shipping at all), no seriously... shipping fan art, shipping fanfics, i don't like them at all. ONE fanfic I read screwed the portrait of the characters I had for almost 10 years (and Tails celibacy altogether) (I had a very bad notion of canon vs fanon at the time) FUCK FANFICS! and there is also something extremelly unsettling for me about seeing a picture two animals making out... it's just, no, not that I say people that it sucks and they're should be etternally punished for doing that, it's just that I don't really like it for my own personal entertainment.
There are some exceptions of course... I freaking love the Mr. Awesomest's fanfics... read trough "New Save File" in a single day.
I Also love the comics Darkspeeds draws, they're so epically well drawn it's almost a crime. I also like to do some fan art, digital painting and such... things I never show to people that knows me in real life LOL.

And Sonic is fucking sexy, no seriously, the guy had some heavy PUA training because the motherfockar has all the traits of a sexy men taught by dating coaches, that's totally planned, he is like fucking Harisson Ford in Indiana Jones. (And I'm a guy, I know these stuff)
Blaze is also hot, there something very feminine and distinctive in her design, it's simple and not sexualized, but you can get instantly that 1) it's a cat 2) it's a girl. not only the design but also the voice, first Bella Hudson and now Laura Bailey? now that's awesome. and even the animations, have ever noticed how gracious and feminine she moves in Sonic Rush? very well designed character, by the way, I also have a theory that she was Elise in Sonic '06...
There was things about porn that I unintentionally (I swear) learned with Rouge the Bat (no seriously, the picture was in a innocent wiki about the characters, what I was supposed to do?)
I love to dive deeply into the details of the development of some games, but ESPECIALLY Sonic '06, and write huge walls of text Space Colony Bark style about it (and that's pure crazy)
I like the classics but I love the modern games more...
I also have an uncontrollable desire to laugh whenever I see a SonicXRouge picture... it's just amusing, I strangely don't have this reaction with any other pairing, very strange...
Shameful secrets... uh, recent one:
After I discovered TV Tropes, I have been having a ridiculous compulsion in organizing every single portrait of the Sonic series characters based on their roles, their characterization and their interactions with the cast...
I also watched every single cutscene in the series since Sonic Adventure only to get characterization and relationships right. I also become every time more and more interested on how fiction works, what is subtext, how things are implied, how emotional connections are made and portrayed to the spectators, that also made me extremely accurate in detecting and pointing hidden subtext in movies and other games, I guess I become too traumatized with OOC fanfics...
I found SonicxAmy cute in Sonic X... (oh come on, you did too)
Then I though that Game Sonic could really be gay, implied, but officially gay.
Now after seeing every single cut-scene of the canon games ever, discovering TV Tropes, and mastering the rules of how fiction is created, at least its how it seems to me based on interactions, subtext, presentation of scenes and all of that complex crap that makes things happen in television...my current interpretation of Sonic's characterization tells me that he and Blaze might have an implied crush for each other since Sonic Rush (that ending), some scenes in later games doesn't help making it feel less true... fuck TV tropes and my obsession with in-characterness by the way...
Moving on from my obsession with TV Tropes and Sonic's gayness, I always found music from Sonic games to be totally awesome, Black Knight? Awesome soundtrack. '06? amazing. Rush? one of my favorites. and I always show it to my friends, especially some select songs from Crush 40, I present as if was some obscure 80's rock band that happens to write songs for games, of course they all love it, and yeah, my media player is stuffed with Sonic Series Soundtrack.
I'm not afraid to say I love playing Sonic games, and I talk like the classics were the best and most culturally rich thing ever, then I slowly transition to the modern games, people don't seem to see Sonic as a childish game here in Brazil at least... it's quite a respected franchiese really.
I think Sonic Rush Adventure is the perfect Sonic game, literally flawless, Characters, Music, Story, Gameplay, Level design, Graphics, there is not a single thing I can complain about it. above all the classics, quite ironic since it's a game developed by Dimps.
I also enjoyed Sonic '06, especially the Soundtrack, AMAZING. And the epic atmosphere, how I wish the new games had that atmosphere... the gameplay is pretty fun when it's fixed, I have the Xbox Live demo (which is far more polished than the final version) and it's very fun to play as Sonic, I also fucking love Kingdom Valley.
I also liked the idea of having Sonic with a more epic storyline... a shame that the execution was so shitty...
I am averse to out of character shipping (which leaves us with pretty much no shipping at all), no seriously... shipping fan art, shipping fanfics, i don't like them at all. ONE fanfic I read screwed the portrait of the characters I had for almost 10 years (and Tails celibacy altogether) (I had a very bad notion of canon vs fanon at the time) FUCK FANFICS! and there is also something extremelly unsettling for me about seeing a picture two animals making out... it's just, no, not that I say people that it sucks and they're should be etternally punished for doing that, it's just that I don't really like it for my own personal entertainment.
There are some exceptions of course... I freaking love the Mr. Awesomest's fanfics... read trough "New Save File" in a single day.
I Also love the comics Darkspeeds draws, they're so epically well drawn it's almost a crime. I also like to do some fan art, digital painting and such... things I never show to people that knows me in real life LOL.

When i bought games (Sonic ones included) back in the day i never cared for the cardboard/paper boxes they came in, and simply tossed them away, keeping just the manual and the game itself... My god was i a fool...

I have maximum amount of chao in each garden in SA2 battle and I love all of them. My all time favorite is one named Nike with a star symbol at the end. Nike is a Sonic chao and is a monster. Near max stats on everything. I something feel the only reason I play that game at all anymore is so I can play with the chao....
I have a fan character that has a crush on Metal Sonic. I've had her for several years and I haven't changed that much about her. If you haven't guessed yet her name is Rally the Cheetah .

I actually enjoy playing Sonic's stages in Sonic 06 and every now and then go back to play them.
I own a Sonic plushy. To be fair, I didn't buy it, it was a present, but I really like the little fellow...
And I have that weird, recurring dream of running through Seaside Hill. It's one of those dreams that feel pretty real and awesome, for some reason I don't have any shoes on in it and can feel the grass on my feet. It's kind of a nice dream in itself... but if you think about that it is about a level in a video game it gets kind of odd.
