My favorites are...

You're TOO SLOWW!! (Sonic in Smash Bros Brawl)

I know little girls who are better with a hammer than you! Well, one anyway. (Sonic the Werehog in Sonic Unleashed after the Dark Guardian battle)

You were lucky Sonic, but luck can't last forever! (Eggman in the Egg Dragoon battle in Sonic Unleashed (Xbox 360 version), some of Eggman's lines in that battle were his greatest yet!)

My least favorite is...

Too easy! Piece of cake! (a victory quote of Sonic's in Smash Bros Brawl, which sounded awkward in flow)

So, what do you think are the best and worst Sonic lines in any Sonic game?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but to me it's like Sonic's forced to say that every game post-Sonic Heroes.

If you fight Black Doom with Vector in ShtH, he'll say some stupid line about deducing Black Doom's weaknesses with his detective skills. I laughed out loud when I heard it the first time, because he doesn't just give you advice like all the other partners, he makes it sound like you need to be a detective to do what he just did.

And that line in SA2 that I'm sure someone will mention, "What you see is what you get! Just a guy that loves adventure!" Very cocky, Sonic.

Worst?

Eeeugh...Heroes and 06 had the worst scripts...so mostly anything from there. >_<

I mean, Heroes had the SAME VAs as SA2...yet SUCH a worst script.

The only voicework I liked out of 06 was that Silver and Blaze were somewhat decent, Mephiles was awesome, and the Duke of Soleanna's "?" ring stuff.

Almost everything Chip says when Sonic feeds him.
Pretty much all of Sonic Chronicles.
All of Eggman's repetitive lines, just because it's hilarious to see how many people in the Sonic community get pissed off by them.


WORST

"Watch out you're gonna crash, ahh." -Sonic in SA (please remind me why Ryan Drummond was so popular).
"THE MORE THE M--" *shot*
"TIME to ROCK and ROLL!" -Sonic in ShTH.
"Nurgurgh ahh ooougheee duregh... irgh eagh egh AHH... " -Chip in Unleashed (yes, I actually listened to it and typed what I heard).

Best Lines:

-Anything said by Mephiles or Shadow in Sonic 06 (Their dialogue was perhaps one of the game's few saving graces, and even the lines that didn't work were executed well.)
-Pretty much everything from SatBK (I'm sorry, the story and the dialogue are all just brilliant.)
-The scene in SA2 where Eggman "kills" Sonic. (Not only was it epic, but it conveyed both Sonic and Eggman's greatest qualities and that they respect each other as enemies. Perhaps my favorite scene in the series.)


Worst Lines:

-Let's show that creep the real SUPER POWER OF TEAMWORK! (I'm fine with morals, but this was far to explicit; I'd like at least SOME subtlety.)
-Anything that's been said in more than two games, i.e. "Too easy! Piece of cake!" or "Long time no see!"
-The first time Jason Griffith tried to make Sonic laugh. (I'm not sure if it counts as a line per se, but still. And to be fair, he did get better after that.)
-Now I know who you are! You're that government spy, Rouge the Bat aren't you? (What was your first clue, Shadow? )

I don't have anything against "Damn" or "You're too slow!" or Eggman's stock lines from the boss fights in Shadow; those only bother me in that they're overused as opposed to being bad lines altogether.
