Only with Sonic stading behind the logo, and the option to subscribe below it. Also I think they had a facebook page, which has also vanished.
Oh and...
newsletter@sonicmerchandise.com
Their email addres... well the address you get when you decide to add them to your address book.

If Sega really is going to do a Sega Store much like the Capcom and Square Enix one, then the Sega Pass might have tied into it. They probably wanted to launch it on the 20th but due to the hacking incident, they're posponed it.
Also if it is the real thing, you can expect the Sega blog to mention it.
but then again I'm Yuji Naka
Hello Yuji Naka.... may I have that pin badge you were wearing at SOS?

http://rhmsolutionsltd.com/ are an IT support company, based in Essex. It's possible they're the ones maintaining the site or some aspects it's services for SEGA (though really I'm just guessing).
Going to investigate more, but I dunno how far I'll get. Never done something like this before.

Would you believe that this street has a website?
The address is 161a Moulsham Street.
Now Moulsham Glas (according to the streets website) is 161 Moulsham Street. 161a therefore is likely to be the area above it, the entrance to it is that cream coloured door just by the telegraph pole.
The website does not have Sonic Merchandise on there as you need to register your business with them in order for them to advertise/host you.

Also, SPIES!

They were the guys who were operating SEGA's merchandise tables at SOS 11. This information is not secret.
So think that table and that'll be what's on sale I guess.
Hopefully their attitudes will have changed by the time the site launches properly. They didn't particularly impress me to say the least.

... and thinking about what I've been told, it makes sense that the site, even as just a place to sign up to a newsletter, was taken down temporarily. But in it's short time up it did garner a fair amount of interest. When it properly surfaces in the future it should hopefully be very interesting. It's really great that SEGA is launching such a shop for us rabid collectors. Who is is really excited for it?

It'd be awesome if the website gave us exclusive items, or items that are otherwise only available in other countries, like most Jazwares stuff and limited editions of games, figures and whatnot. It'd be great if they launched with the announcement of special editions of Generations you could only buy direct from them. And then yeah, it'd suck if they don't ship internationality. Something is telling me not to expect them to though...We need exclusive stuff that you can't get anywhere else! Nice, high-quality stuff. Maybe you could set up something with Sonic celebrities (Naka, Iizuka, Senoue, etc.) and sell autographed merchandise. And ship internationally, please!

Just tried to get onto the website, the subscriber pages are still there... however the main front page has gone, now I just get a page not found message.
Could we be getting this soon?

Honestly, who else thinks an online, official Sonic Merchandise shop is just about one of the coolest things ever to have cropped up for the franchise outside of the games?
