Ok, Does anyone hate any characters in the Sonic franchise at all???
Personally, I don't have any of the characters. They are either, Favourite, Cool/Ok/Good, Funny, or meh.

I don't really hate any of the characters. Though I feel that some need some serious character development, and I feel a bit indifferent to them, unless they do something bad-ass on rare occasions.

Chris Thorndyke, the Gary-Stu that ruined Sonic X. He's the only one I truly hate.


Although I have nothing against either of them, Silver and Big are two characters that come to mind.

Man he's so annoying! I'm not one to hate fictional characters persay, let me just say that Jet is just...well, annoying. He's voice is annoying and so are his proclamations to discover who the fastest creature in the universe......with hoverboards. Seriously, I thought that a creature who is trying to attest to the title of fastest creature in the universe would rely on their bodies rather than a mechanization.

He's just not interesting.

Archie Sonic.

It's a statement to just how screwed-up Archie have mutilated a character when my favourite character in the game series is my most hated character in the Archieverse. Gee, when Archie Sonic isn't bending over sideways for the idiotic Acorns and acting like their guided missile, letting mass murderers walk free and feeling repentance for contributing to their mental decline (That must be a slap in the face for Eggman's victims musn't it?) and acting like the village whore who, get this, has romantic affairs with a girl just to 'save' his "best mate" (I put that in vague terms, as Sally is Sonic's BF undoubtedly) from the heartbreak of rejection, you know you've gone so far disgustingly out of basic Sonic characterization that many people feel that this...parody is Sonic in name only.

I don't really have a strong hatred toward anybody in the Sonic universe...except maybe Chris from Sonic X.

Silver

- You'd think he'd do some research before time traveling to the past to hunt down the wrong hedgehog
- without his psychic powers, his inability to form a thought would be his down bringing
- annoying as heck boss in 2006
- never has anything useful to say
- his Archie 4 comic story arc was so uninteresting that it took me 3 weeks to pick up and read after I bought them
- unnecessary towards anything in the series
- Blaze can do way better

Silver the Hedgehog. Other than being a friend to Blaze, I really don't see his purpose. I just don't like him.

Big the Cat. The only thing I liked about him was his theme in SA, "Lazy Days (Livin' in Paradise)". Other than that? Yeah, nothing.

I think that's the only 2 I don't like. I used to hate Rouge and Amy, but now I kinda like them.

Most characters in the games don't have any personal qualities that aggravate me; I've even become somewhat immune to annoying voices. But I do have a bone to pick with Scourge whose dismal battle dialogue made me despise him the longer I read that hedgehog-dedicated issue. Whether or not there's issues that paint him in a better light isn't my concern. My first impression of the character was awful; he's just amazingly annoying to me.

Nobody really gets hate from me as a character. Gameplay wise though, I'm no fan of Big's fishing or Rouge's treasure hunting and as far as I'm concerned they've done the series no harm in the 2D games whatsoever. I also question a lot of some fans' justification for the hatred. When I ask, this type of answer is what I usually get.

Me: "why do you hate Amy?"

Him: "Because she's an annoying bitch"

me: "She doesn't talk at all in the advance games. Do you still hate her there?"

him: "She's way too damn hard and stupid to play as. That bitch needs to die in a fire along with Cream, Big, Silver, Marine, Chip, those birds from Riders, and all those useless annoying bitches made after SA2 except Blaze because they ruinned Sonic"

Me: "You know there's nothing wrong with their gameplay in 2D they've done the series no harm there"

Him: "Who cares about their gameplay they just suck and nobody except for little kids like them! So stop defending what killed the series they all need to die in a fire!"

me: "you need to die in a fire [trollface]"

Him: "......shut up modern faggot! *logs off*"

Characters I dislike are Silver, Sally and Cosmo. At a time I wasn't really fond of Shadow and Blaze, but I like Shadow again and I currently don't particularly care about Blaze.

lol, when did this happen? It's funny when people like that always puts the blame on the characters but not their gameplay and they never mentions Knuckles and Tails especially they're not really doing much of nothing nowadays.

Ooh, I have lots! Actually I don't, but pretend I do.

Blaze; Now, before you get up in arms, this isn't the standard "I HATE THAT CHARACTER, THEY MAKE ME RAGE WITH FURY!" type of hate. She's just so bland compared to the other characters that the sight of her just makes me murmur "Ahuh, whatever, now just piss off". Don't get me wrong, she has her moments, but they're much fewer compared to other characters.

Tikal; ...Thank God she did piss off. I found her annoying, unhelpful, and just overall grating. Ugh.

Sally Acorn; There are times when I can more than happily tolerate her presence in my Chaotix Sonic action. At the moment, however, she just makes me want to scream bloody murder (no reference to the actual comic events intended).

Julie-Su; FUCK YOUR SOULTOUCH. Seriously, she has to be shoehorned into everything involving Knuckles because of that damn soultouch, and I despise it.

Lara-Su; At the moment, anyway. Lady, you're a third tier character who doesn't even exist in the present time. Stop taking the comic time away from Sonic/Silver/whoever you're supposed to be the co-star to for an arc.

Personally, for me, the characters that are the worse would undoubtedly be Big the Cat and Silver the Hedgehog. Both for pretty much the same reason. They're both a nuisance, they're both completely useless, both their voices are annoying, and they're both a pain in the ass to play as. I don't hate them or anything, but jeez..I'd would think they're my least favorites by far. The cameos are nice and stuff, but I just can't get into them.

Aaaanway, I've noticed that characters that I don't like tend to be regarded as part of the Spotlight Stealing Squad. Which include:

Shadow- I don't really hate him as much as I used to, and now I just sigh whenever he's on screen. He used to be such a great character, y'know? His story was over and then he died a heroic death, except it meant nothing by Sonic Heroes and yeah, that felt like a punch to the gut to me. Then came his own game, and I just raged like the Fist of the North Star. After his spotlight stealing era, he was toned down in role considerably, but still played a major role in 06, moreso in Sonic. That just irked me. But now he's just... eh. I don't find him interesting at all. Not awesome, not rage worthy, just eh. I still dislike him though, but he's slowly going into the neutral zone.

Sally- Uh, nothing much needs to be said, really. I still have a bad taste from her Pants-on-head retarded romance era. She's still a spotlight stealer, though.

I do dislike others, but I just dislike them the most and that would fall under spotlight stealing.

Others include Elise. She's not much a spotlight stealer, she's just a really shallow character.

When I was younger, I hated both Amy and Tails. I found them very, very irritating.

But I found out that all of them have some things about them that make them extremely awesome.

And I secretly support the Sonamy thing. They just look cute together. ._. Don't judge me.

The thing is, Amy has a fangirl crush. It's part of her character, but I just can't see it as a serious romantic attachment. She's twelve years old, a bit too young to have mature romantic feelings.

And how is Sonic a prick for denying her? Game Sonic isn't one for romance and settling down.

Note: I have nothing against Amy. Just saying.

Anyway, I'm not one to hate characters, but I can't say I'm a fan of most of the random side-chars in AoStH.

Post-Adventure-Era Knuckles.

I just can't stand the guy! He's just a Hulk rip-off except that it's about his "precious master emerald" rather than... something else. if it's not that, he's just there being all "YAY TIME TO SMASH ROBOTS!" and it's boring.

(Now, I actually really like the classic version, he's pretty BA. and DAT HAT. Even Adventure Era he had actual personality and come on, he even showed a fear of GHOSTS!)

I can't really say anything for Knuckles in the comics... I haven't really seen much of him at all in them.

Annoying bitch. "SONNIKKU THIS, SONNIKU THAT" just STFU. Seriously. At least now she's toned it down a bit. Still kinda annoying though, but not quite enough to hate her now.

TBH, I like her in both of the comics. Amy respects Sonic's space in Archie and can hold her own too. And I find the Fleetway comics to show her as more than a mere fangirl.

I dunno what to think of Sonic X version of Amy.
