For Fleetway, you can use Tekno, Porker Lewis and Johnny Lightfoot. And maybe Super Sonic (he was separated from Sonic for a while).
Excellent choises. I may know nothing of Archie but I am very familier with fleetway. I still have my original collection of comics. And the Super Sonic separating story arc was one of my personal favourites.
Don't worry about asking for transformation or duplicate characters. I'm not using that rule for this addon project. In fact all the rules I used for the anniversary picture, I'm not using any more. Hmm, I might as well add them all to the list, with no rules to restrict me people will be expecting them. As well as the "spoiler" characters.
Besides, I'll be honest and say that my first thought when I came to this topic earlier was "Hmm... was just playing Sonic Chronicles, and rescued Timmy from the mine... what about Timmy?" and that was immediately followed by "You're an idiot, don't kill the man!" I'm certain you'll make the right choices!
Adamis is a genius for mentioning Fleetway, though. Might I perhaps add Shortfuse the Cybernik to the list?

To me, axed and glitched characters seem a bit 'out there' as they are even less important than those who've had one-liners or have been background fodder. As well, it is wasteful of your talents.

I hear what your saying, and it makes perfect sence. I think perhaps it's best if I remain a neutral party. I'll add anybody to the list, regardless of there role, as long as fans believe they should be there. After all, now that the no spoiler characters rule has been thrown out, every bone in my body is saying "Don't try to draw Metal Overlord!! He's too detailed and complicated, it's impossible!!!" But I think I should try. No...I want to try!! XD
Hmm, regarding the axed/glitched characters. Again, you make a good point. I've spoken to several people who have no idea who they are. Kinda like how 2 player Shadow Android (yellow Shadow.) was on the original picture. (roughly in the middle, behind Capt Whiskers, next to Erazor Djinn.)
About half had no idea who it was. But alternatively, the half that did were shocked and pleased to see him there. So I'm thinking...I'll do some poking around and see how popular these guys are, and if they have a huge following, then I will keep them in. If not, then I will just have to cut them out.
Although going with a popular opinion route is flawed, I should know, since I'm a fan of Big The Cat. We are a rare breed. XD
A couple of new stuff I should mention.

It was joked about on the original, and I was very tempted to do it. So given how the end result of this expansion would look like. I'd like to request that someone, anyone, nominate one of the characters to be featured as a Wally/Waldo cosplayer. Not a complete cosplay, just the hat and glasses will be added...maybe the shirt. Even better if there's already a Sonic character that looks like him.
For anyone that doesn't know. Waldo (called Wally here in the UK.) is famous for being hidden in large pictures with lots of characters in them. Where you then have to find him. He's been in lots of books.

One person asked when looking at the original anniversary picture whether I had any plans to include crossover characters. Well I didn't, and I have no idea why. So I've included the option to do so. Anybody that has appearing with Sonic on a game can now be included.
The second one was an idea that just came to me. Adding important community members in fan character or human form. Although human forms will be in anime style as that is the only way I can draw a human. lol
Who has been some of the most inspiring, ground breaking members of the Sonic community?
AAUK and Dreadknux are obvious so if everyone here agrees, I'll add them now. But who else? I don't think I'm qualified to answer this question, since I turn up for a couple of months, then disappear for a couple more months, then repeat. So I'm sorta out of the loop in terms of the most awesome of community members. But I hope to change that. Yet if it was up to me, I would include anybody that was nice to me once. XD
