I'm the quintessential old fart of the Sonic fandom, which roughly translates to "I hate everything new and scary."
Let's call "everything new and scary" post Adventure era for want of a less biased term. I've been around in the Sonic community for about the last seven or so years, mostly on devART, though I had an account here before the great flood (server jump).
Nowadays, my zeal for Sonic has waned considerably, and though I've been active in a Sonic RP since the beginning of time, I've predominantly been playing fancharacters since '06, so my love for the official cast seems to have been affected (or infected, if you will) by recent games.
Somehow, though, my ears still perk at the mention of a new game, and like a battered wife, I raise my head with a hopeful smile, thinking maybe, just maybe this time, SEGA won't backhand it back down.
The fact that I'm still here after Heroes, 2k6 and even Unleashed must mean something. I guess breaking up really is hard to do.
