Oh, hello there. The guy you're looking for lives in the next...oh, so it IS me you're looking for? Tell you what, let's try this again.
Hello there! I'm LiamTheAnimator but you can just call me Liam. I've been a member of the SSMB since June 2011 and since then I've met many fantastic people here and have come to find this place a mandatory part of my daily routine.
Now, as you might have guessed, I have a great enjoyment in animation specifically stop-motion. Since around 2007/2008 I've been making animations most of which have been lost over time due to being a bit of an imbecile when I was younger. My interest in animation was most likely kick started back in 2003 when I received my PS2 for Christmas and one of the things with it was a DVD of Wallace and Gromit: A Grand Day Out. At the time I didn't think much of it. I'd never heard of these two and the strange lighting on the front cover made Wallace's big smile somewhat intimidating for my seven year old self. At some point I did end up watching it and once it was over all I could think is why I hadn't watched it sooner. The rest as they say as history which leads to now where I'm currently studying an HND in Computer Arts & Design at college and hopefully afterwards will be going to university to study 3D computer animation.
Outside of Animation. I have an uncompromising love for video games. Sonic the Hedgehog-who I'm sure none of you have heard of- was my first game back in 1998 on the Sega Mega Drive and I'd eventually rejoin the franchise in 2004 where I stayed until this very day. The Portal franchise caught my attention in 2011 in the run up to Portal 2's release. As if I was being given a sign, the first game was discounted on Xbox Live. I went for it, loved it, and got the sequel. Once the credits rolled I knew I'd found my second favorite franchise. I also have an equal love for retro gaming, playing games from across the decades.
I've also got a huge soft spot for trains, thanks to a certain little blue locomotive from my childhood. I would go into detail on this but I assure you, once I get going on it you'll wish I never started.
That's all from me folks. You'll see me around the forum and if you ever need to ask anything or just fancy a friendly chat, you know where to find me.
