About Me

So, what exactly is there to say about me?
I've been a Sonic fan for a little over 11 years. The first Sonic game I played was the Gamecube port of Sonic Adventure 2. Not long afterwards, I got to play the Classic Genesis games via Sonic Mega Collection.

As of now, I'm working on various different mods. Super Sonic Generations, Sonic Simulations, and Metal Sonic Generations are my 3 major modding projects.

I tend to just lurk around here. I rarely (if ever) post anything (mostly out of shyness.)

Negativity and basic history aside, here is a simply list of the most notable things I've done within the fandom:

1. Conceptualized the "Sonic Battle Sprite Project." It was a huge project spanning 3 different fan communities, including this very message board. It started many years ago, and died sometime near the end of 2006 (My devotion to it was the only thing keeping it alive. I had a falling out with the Sonic community in 2006...)

2. Worked alongside Roareye, Cyberblade, and Shadow Urtheart on the SSN website for about 6 months in 2007. Seriously. The WayBack machine proves it: http://web.archive.o...g/contacts/home

3. Made a semi-horrid-quality Sonic Battle styled Super Sonic spritesheet that become infamously overused. It's been used in numerous sprite comics, flash animations (ESPECIALLY Super Mario Bros Z. Heck, this sheet was partially utilized in Fire Flower Sonic's creation) and was apparently "good" enough to make Backbone Entertainment think Sega made it, leading them to use it as an achievement icon in their XBLA port of Sonic 2 (despite the fact that they could have easily used sprite art from Sonic 2 itself.)

4. Never stopped being a Sonic fan in spite of losing motivation to make sprite art, having a fall-out with the Sonic community, AND having my graphics "stolen" by an official game developer. Which is even more impressive since the few Sonic games being made for the Wii and DS (I only buy Nintendo consoles) weren't too good... Until Sonic Colors, that is...

5. At least for a day, I managed to get the highest non-hack score for the Sonic Colors Nega-Wisp-Armor Boss fight. Better reaction timing and finishing a few milliseconds faster is literally the only reason people could beat that score.

6. Returning to the Sonic Fan Community for Sonic's 20th birthday with some decent spritework. Nothing special. I still didn't do much until Sonic Generations came out. Even then, I still had to wait a few weeks to get a new PC that could run the game.

7. I made a new name for myself within the Sonic community by modding Sonic Generations. I started off with a Super Sonic model swap that could very well be a parallel to my infamous and overused spritesheet...

8. Now I've made more mods for Sonic Generations, such as Metal Sonic Generations, and I've also contributed to numerous others, including the Sonic Unleashed project.
