Looking forward to this already. Will be bringing my nephew along for his first time.

Also hoping to help out like I did last year.

You'll know who I am because I should (all being well) have my trombone with me. It'll make a change from bringing my guitar (and you won't need an amp to hear me :P )

I have one. Picked one up about 6 months ago after wanting one for ages.

One problem I've found, the obvious one, is that it was never released here in the UK so some of my Mega Drive games get rejected as it knows they should be Genesis only.

Great little handheld all the same :)

Not having children myself, my nephew has gone crazy over Sonic (and he's only 4!). Mostly because I have a number of plushies and merchandise around our house. His mum (my sister) has now started buying t-shirts for him to wear. He has a facination with the iPhone version of Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing. Hasn't quite mastered turning corners yet but he's getting there.

He got all excited when I asked if he'd like to join me at Summer of Sonic this year.

Reading a number of recent posts in this thread, I remember walking round London, either on a Sonic London meet or on one of those rare Video Games Live concert days, with a Sonic plushie head sticking out of my rucksack and a number of children in amazement when they saw me walk past.
