    Yeah you'd be surprised, there's a lot of people that refuse to use Staraptor solely because of how it looks, there's many that like the classic Pidgeot better, I just can't believe they made it so inferior this generation ._.

    Yeah it always puzzled me how it can learn Close Combat in the first place... It is pretty tough... I just took a look at the base stats and Staraptor is higher than pidgeot in all the important ones... X_X Still, I've seen some deadly ones used that give people problems, Pidgeot definitely can be maximized as you say, just takes lots of investing...
