'Lo lovlies. My name is Syaming Li, Li for short. My real name is Dean Shanghanoo. I love Sonic the Hedgehog, and have been enjoying the franchise since 1991, and haven't looked back since! I have been out and about posting art online since 1999, and used to run under the name BoltStryke. I am a fanartist and creator of webcomic SONIC SOUNDSPEED, which I have rather ambitious plans for!

[What does my name mean? It's something that stuck. A mistranslation of liúxīng (shooting star in Chinese) that is one of my names and I've been using it as an online handle... Even after I found out it was wrong! So in all technicality, it means nothing. XD]

My favourite games are Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure 2, World of Warcraft, Street Fighter Ex Plus Alpha, Pokémon Heart Gold/Soul Silver, Super Mario Bros. 3, Donkey Kong Country & Super Smash Bros. Brawl. My favourite types of music are Metal (Lamb of God, 36 Crazyfists), J-Rock (GACKT, Miyavi, LaCroix Despheres, Girugamesh), J-Pop (Ayabie, SuG, Alice Nine; kinda J-Rock too though~!), Electronic (Daft Punk), Breakbeat, Techno, R&B, Hip-Hop~ all sorts really. I'm an alternative self-dubbed 'Mangapunk', so loves trying new things, and incorporating my artwork into all aspects of my life, my music, the way I dress. I love making things (I paint and craft too), am versed in martial arts, and I play the guitar!
