Gamers on modern consoles will finally be able to relive the memories of Sonic the Hedgehog's 16-Bit glory years, thanks to the release of Sonic Origins. A compilation pack containing four of the blue blur's greatest Mega Drive/Genesis adventures (Sonic 1, Sonic CD, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 & Knuckles as a complete package), Origins will feature all-new enhancements and presentation that will no-doubt satisfy old-school fans. Not only will this be the first time players will get to experience the Taxman/Stealth high-resolution versions of Sonic 1 and 2 on home consoles, but it will be the first time the same treatment will be given to Sonic 3 & Knuckles - a game that has not been re-released in any form for over a decade.
Alongside these new enhancements, Sonic Origins comes complete with a museum mode that features unlockable archive material (players earn coins through play which can be used to spend in these special menus). A new 'Story Mode' will also use brand-new animations to help tie all of these classic Sonic games together for the first time.
