I didn’t want to say anything on the KyoAni arson at first because it seriously pissed me off and I was worried I’d end up saying something regrettable as a result of intense anger. But I’ve calmed down enough now to talk about it reasonably.
My condolences to the family and friends of the people who were lost as a result of the fire. And I wish the best of luck for anybody who was injured as a result. I hope this doesn’t signal the end of the studio because although I was never into anime, I know that it produced things that made other people happy and that’s what counts.
This proves that Phil Spencer's "Play Anywhere you want" Gamepass and Xcloud bullcrap is wrong, despite being released on 6 platforms over the course of the last 8 years, Arkham City was dethroned as the highest selling superhero game by Insomniac's Spiderman, a game that is not even a year old and is only on 1 platform.
Quality exclusives make people buy you hardware, which makes them subscribe to your services, which makes it even easier to make money.
Why Phil doesn't get this despite Nintendo and Sony getting it fine is beyond me.
