If you've been pottering about the internet a lot lately, you might have found some 'screenshots' of a sequel to Sonic Advance on the Game Boy Advance. Don't get too excited though - it's totally fake.
The above screenshots were posted on this webpage, presented as off-screen photos of 'Sonic Advance 2'. But Sonic HQ has followed up on this and reported that the person who originally posted the photos has admitted that it's an elaborate hoax. The screens are part of a fan game project that they are working on.
So that's a bummer. Still, with the original Sonic Advance selling so well, there's no doubt that a real sequel will indeed be worked on by SEGA. Only a matter of time!
