  • Sonic Mega Collection Confirmed for Western Release

    SEGA of America has announced that Sonic Team's latest Mega Drive game compilation, Sonic Mega Collection, will indeed be coming to the West later this year on Nintendo Gamecube. The company also revealed a shortlist of games that will come on the disc, confirming the list we previously reported.

    There's that list again, in case you need a reminder:

    • Sonic the Hedgehog
    • Sonic the Hedgehog 2
    • Sonic the Hedgehog 3
    • Sonic & Knuckles
    • Sonic 3D Blast
    • Sonic Spinball
    • Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

    We're really looking forward to connecting with the classic Sonic platforming games once again on modern platforms, so we're keen to learn more about how the Sonic Mega Collection will be packaged up in terms of presentation. When we hear more, we'll let you know right here.
