You’ve got the Egg Mobile set, and the Death Egg robot set, so what’s the next logical boss battle for your 2.5″ scale Sonic figures? Why, Metal Sonic and the Death Egg of course! Sonic Merch News on Twitter reports that there are two yet-to-be-revealed JAKKS Pacific playsets based on Stardust Speedway and the Death Egg (though we don’t know if that means the actual spherical space station itself, or the level that takes place inside of it).
Details are slim at this point, with no photos, prices, general release time, or if you will have to provide your own Metal Sonic; however, (as pure speculation) both prior Sonic Central presentations took place in the late-May early-June time frame, and both featured a big classic Sonic playset from JAKKS.
