In something of a strange business move, it has been reported that SEGA has sold on "several game assets" over to casino gaming equipment manufacturer Shuffle Master.
Don't worry though, none of your favourite Mega Drive, Saturn or Dreamcast IP will be affected by this move. According to an article on XenGamers, Shuffle Master "will acquire [from SEGA] certain inventory and intellectual property rights relating to multi-player games referred to as Royal Ascot, Royal Derby, Sega Blackjack, Bingo Party and Roulette Club, primarily for the North American gaming market."
In addition to this, some of Shuffle Master's existing table games, such as 'Let It Ride' and 'Three Card Poker' will also benefit from expansions into "electronic form" as part of this deal with SEGA.
Good for SEGA we guess, we doubt it was really doing anything with game titles like 'Royal Ascot' or 'Bingo Party' anyway. If you're super interested in what Shuffle Master does, you can check out their website here. But beware - it's very casino-y.
