  • New Sonic Game and Anime Series Announced for 2003!

    A shareholder meeting with SEGA Japan reveals some nuggets of information.

    Earlier today, Sega held an annual shareholder meeting, in which Tetsua Kayama, Sega Corp's COO, shed some light on some exciting new bits of information and announcements. Besides other announcements, Kayama announced that a brand new Sonic game was in development and would be released next year!

    Kayama also stated that the new Sonic game would have a new title. That likely means it won't be part of the Adventure series. No platform was mentioned as of yet.

    In other exciting news, Sega announced there's a new Sonic anime series in development also! And not a one-shot OVA movie either!

    Two big news reports to get us excited indeed, SSNG will keep you updated.
