Ngl, I’m kinda annoyed about the waypoint system in TOTK. I get the game wants me to explore around me and find things on my own, and like, that’s cool for shrines, or side quests or general exploration· 3 replies
but man, if I wanna do the main quest, please just give me a waypoint to my next destination, key person of interest, or key item instead of just telling me to see some such person found somewhere in this one large location in a open world game. I just want to play the story here, not find a needle in a haystack of finding NPCs or random items required for the main quest. It honestly annoys the hell out of me when a waypoint is just marked at the task giver, because at that point, it’s basically completely useless clutter on the map.
