Sonic gets himself some SOAP Shoes (or SOAP-approximate Shoes) in the Sonic Frontiers DLC. As these bonus kicks are famously seen in Sonic Adventure 2, we decided to try them out in an appropriate location.

I too unlocked both the unlockables. Cyber Space Power Boost was easy to get (the times in Cyberspace are generally lenient), the Extreme difficulty was far harder to get. Honestly, the only thing I do not see myself doing is Extreme mode itself- it does not sound fun. I hope nothing is locked behind THAT, or else I'm using god-mode through that difficulty..· 0 replies

Finally unlocked Cyber Space Power Boost and Extreme Difficulty. Unironically, I really appreciate how stressful and out-of-the-way they were to unlock. They feel like modes you'd hear in schoolyard rumors.· 0 replies

Does anyone here notice a general decline in sonic's running animation (and subsequently animation polish as a whole in sonic games)? His run looked great in generations and even better in lost world but forces it started to look more stiff, his quills didn't flow properly and his arms looked static. Frontiers is literally the same animation ripped from forces. I don't know how you mess up something so simple and something that was already more or less perfected in past games.· 2 replies
