  1. the Sonic Riders demo runs on my PC just fine, but the full game gives me problems as the launcher you install the game from closes when I click "Install Game"? What the hell? Bit annoying to be quite honest. Anyone know what the problem might be? (The PC can more than handle it, here are my specs for those who are curious.) 2. For me, the fastest feeling Sonic game would have to be Sonic Unleashed HD without question. It's a fun game, but after playing Sonic Colours and Generations I tend to find it a bit TOO easy/linear in comparison nowadays, but by no means a bad game. Admittedly the only level I ever really replayed was Spagonia's Rooftop Run, and that got an improved remake in Generations. (Well, improved in my opinion anyway)
  3. Is 10 days considered reviving a dead thread? If it is then I apologise, but I kind of wanted to throw my 2 cents in there, after stumbling across this thread during a Google search. To me, Sonic 2 was the best of the original 4 (5 if you count Sonic 3 and Knuckles as 2 games, which I personally don't) Sonic games. To me it had by far the catchiest music, most visually appealing zones, it bought Tails into the series, had really fun multiplayer (even if only a select few stages were available in it) etc. I love Sonic 1 to pieces as well and I'm rather fond of Sonic CD. To me Sonic 3 and Knuckles is the weakest, by no means would I call it overrated (as if to imply it had no merit whatsoever) but to me it was the least memorable in terms of stages, music, and I found the graphics to be a tad over saturated, particularly Sonic's character model. It's not the most popular opinion, and I don't HATE the game (not even close to it in fact) but there you go.
  4. Another reboot? Oh come on, they only rebooted it 4 years ago with Legend :/
  5. The fact he's not even remotely interesting any more and his story sucked after SA2 and he felt like he was shoe horned in? Why should it matter if it's been said a lot anyway? It's not my opinion just because a lot of other people share it, so I fail to see your point.
  6. I could ramble about this for hours, so I'm going to cut to the chase. In short I thought he was a great character in Sonic Adventure 2, but I've loathed him with the passion of a thousand artists in every game since. He really should have stayed dead.
  7. When people ask me whether I thought Sonic Heroes was good or not, I have a hard time answering. If you mean Team Sonic, the game was one of the best 3D Sonic games, the stages for me were a blast to play through, yes the storyline was terrible and the in game dialogue was corny enough to make Spongebob and Friends blush and be jealous, but the game was still a lot of fun. Playing through it 3 more times however, with some god awful gimmicks as Chaotix...not so much.
  8. Sonic 4 Episode 1 was far from being a bad game, but to me it didn't feel like it had any soul to call its own, it had (some of) the controls from Sonic Rush, and level ideas pretty much copy pasted from Sonics 1 and 2, plus save for Splash Hill Zone Act 1 and the start up screen theme, the music was atrocious. It was definitely a disappointment for me personally. Also, 1,200 points for 4 zones is a rip off of epic proportions. It makes me glad that Sonic Colours was as good as it was.
  9. Sorry if this considered a bump, in advance. Anyways, I know I'm going to hell for saying this, but I truly feel that Goldeneye 007 on the Wii is FAR superior to its N64 predecessor, that was a great game that did a lot for console FPS's, but it's aged horribly, it needed a well made, updated re imagining badly I now realise, and boy did it ever get one!
  10. Doesn't make it any less true though, does it?
  11. Well considering IGN went out of their way to review Sonic Adventure like it was a game made in 2010 so they had an excuse to rag on it and gave it a worse score than the abysmal Sonic 2006, you can bet they're going to hate this game.
  12. I honestly thought this was a joke when I first heard about it.
  13. Well, I'm not new by any stretch of the imagination, but I have been gone for quite a long while ^^; Apologies if these sorts of posts aren't allowed in this thread, but if they are then...well, I'm back fellas =)
  14. Why would anyone who wasn't white want to join a racist party anyway? It makes absolutley no sense :S
