@Dejimon11 If it wouldn't have been, such a shame. I'm not a staffie anymore. |3
@Ferno Ayyy Ferno! I've been good! How about you? -

@Nepenthe Been alright, even more of an art nerd now but I still visit here regularly even if just to haunt the statuses/ lurk a thread or two out of nonstop nostalgia.
-
-
@Ferno I know what you mean. I should haunt every now and again, maybe when the next Sonic game is released.
@Ryannumber1gamer Oh, I one-trick Lucio to the max. I let other people pick up main healer slack. I like the movement freedom he gives, as well as being a skirmisher and harasser. You wear a lot of hats on Lucio. Current goal is to hit Diamond; got to the 2900s once.

On console, her and Ana are kind of in the same area. Both can be really effective in the right hands, constantly deactivating abilities, being sneaky, EMPing at the right time etc etc, but Ana's problem is most players don't have good aim, especially in High Platinum/Diamond and in Quick Play, and Sombra doesn't have a lot of people bothering to learn her effectively. I've been using Total Mayhem to try learn her because there's more of a safety net there for screwing up, it allows me to learn good ways to flank enemies, and take down their abilities before getting out, or if they're weak, finishing them.

PC. Faster updates, a working reporting system, and better aim assist controls. Some characters are apparently nigh unplayable on console.
@Jovahexeon Ace Joranvexeon I don't have Smesh.

@Diamond Dragon X Soldier is recommended as the starter because he's a jack-of-all-trades gateway character from traditional FPS games. If you've touched CoD, you'll know how he plays. Plus, he's got some nice abilities like sprint and area healing to give you staying power. However, feel free to try everyone in Quick Play games until you find your niche(s). You should ideally be able to play one single character in each of the four classes.
@Josh Long time no see!

Well, I main Lucio. However, I can be effective with Soldier, Pharah, Reaper, Junkrat, Winston, and Orisa. Sometimes, Lucio isn't needed or isn't working as well as I'd like him too, or I'm just dying too often. Team comps and skill levels can alter the flow of a match on the fly, so to be as effective as possible you need to be flexible. But that's the fun of Overwatch.
If you want to main only one character however, no one's going to fuss if you main a healer or a traditional tank. xD
-
-
Overwatch and a Lucio main, two good decisions at once.
I love playing Lucio myself as a main healer, he was even my first gold gun and the character I trained to comp with in terms of healing, at least at first.
But then I realised I'm on console and unless playing with friends, typically end up getting stuck with a team who don't wanna group up because as we all know, flanking on defence is the best way to handle things.
and that's the story of why I have to play Mercy on Season 6 as opposed to the funnest healer around.
But yeah, good to see you around again.
@Diamond Dragon X It's not a case of having to pick mains, but Overwatch is built on team composition and in general, trying to be flexible. Every hero is simple to pick up and have skills that transfer over to other characters, but again, it's all about hero composition. If you want to win, sometimes you have to bite the bullet and pick a character you might dislike or not play who you want to play as in order to help your team. In most cases, if your team runs 5 DPS characters, running Hanzo or Genji, or someone like that typically means your team will likely lose.
