I remember that I wrecked 50 wire fighters on hard mode as Jigglypuff. My heart crushed when I got was a trophy and not Sonic.

I Believed that rumor when I was small and naive even though I already unlocked everyone.

Nearly did that with Roy, but on instinct I hit Z button (resets the match in 1P modes) when I just reached the mark when I was uncertain managed after getting screen K.O  

I was very upset when that happened.

I miss when the internet was in it's infancy and wild playground rumors about games like that one or Luigi in SM64 were rampant

these days games just get leaked or even flatout datamined weeks or even months before release, and there's no surprise or speculation anymore

And then people go ahead and actually bring those old rumors to life, so they can pretend they can rewrite history.
