  1. Seeing as how I've forgotten about it not even a few months later, I can safely say that Wreck-it Ralph 2 didn't need to exist, atleast in the form it came out in. Had it stayed strictly video game based, maybe moving onto console gaming and keeping the internet strictly as a transportation method between consoles or online games, then it would've been better imo. But they didn't need to drag the internet as a whole into it, especially with memes that were already old by the time the film came out and will only age worse as the years go by.

I still haven't seen it. I completely forgot about it until a couple weeks ago. Seriously the move to the internet killed my interest.

      Spoiler

Especially when some say that it concludes with completely contradicting the morals told by the first film. I don't have a problem when a sequel presents a lesson or something from the original film in a new way, but clearly the execution here was quite flawed.

I enjoyed watching the characters where they go, but from the very beginning I find myself asking if this really needed to be a Ralph movie. It's far from any Emoji Movie, but its still clear that the main drive can be summed up as "older filmmakers trying to be hip with the millennials," with Ready Player One levels of pandering thrown in the mix.

I'm giving Disney one last chance with Frozen 2 to not make the same mistakes as this film. After that, enough with the sequels/remakes.

I actually really liked it. I wasn't expecting it to be fantastic or anything but I was pleasantly surprised

I'll be controversial here, I enjoyed it more than Incredibles 2.

All I'm saying is that it says a lot about the movie's quality is if the only memorable parts people talk about are when Sonic appears

I'm more lenient than almost everyone I know who has seen it, mainly because I really did like how the relationship was handled; but at this point I think having that story with Ralph/Vanellope was a mistake. Should had been some new characters if it was going to be set in the same world as WIR.

Given how the Disney/Pixar sequels so far have consistently been "it's alright/disappointing" rather than "just as good/even better" so far and how everyone felt the TS3 wrapped the story up perfectly as it is, I'm expecting TS4 to massively disappoint across the board at this point. Would feel like everything coming full circle since the whole spate of Pixar sequels (and WDAS returning to sequels again) kicked off with TS3 and that was a practically near-perfect third installment.

At least Frozen II looks genuinely interesting with where they're going with the story and might be the one subversion to the rule yet. But I feel the damage has been done at this point (which isn't helped by the live-action remakes).
