  1. Hearing more and more about how greedy Disney is and how BIG they are now, I'm almost wishing that Comcast won the bid to by Fox at this point tbh

      i'm not happy with how disney's been operating lately either but it's worth noting comcast swallowed up NBC/Universal six years ago and they have the bigger problem of being a telecommunications company (they do TV/internet/phone service and they've got a monopoly on providing such services in some states).

      it's honestly mostly a "whoever wins, we lose" scenario. i think most people would had preferred disney just getting the marvel properties back from fox (as well as maybe the original rights to a new hope) but nothing more beyond that.

      we wouldn't be here if murdoch and comp. at 21CF didn't have the cojones to sell the media side of fox to begin with.
