  1. Akkala was pretty much the last region of Hyrule in BotW that I came across in my 1st playthrough, so tbh that area always has this "last frontier" feeling for me. Kinda wondering what everyone else's last region/tower was

For me it was the Faron jungle area. I didn't know the little fishing village even existed until after I had already beat Ganon.

@Speederino Same! I was playing the game non-stop for at least 4 weeks at launch, logging in over 200 hours in that time. Shit had just really hit the fan in my life and I had all the free time in the world. That game probably saved my sanity, actually. I'm not joking or even slightly exaggerating. It took five days before I found and began to tackle the first Divine Beast (Ruta in my case). Then I finally ventured into Hyrule Castle to tackle Ganon after two weeks. And by the time I was done with it, I still hadn't found Lurelin Village or the Faron Tower. The last minor area that I explored was the far north-eastern reach of Hebra though.

Akkala definitely has the feeling of a final frontier, which I think is intentional as it's also where the last stand against the Calamity was in the story. I'd love to see what it was like in its prime, or even Tarrey Town expanded into something that rivals Hateno by the time of BotW2.
