when the machines invade from hell

  2. Really happy that they got Randy Newman back for TS4. From Toy Story, to Bug's life, Monster's Inc and even Cars, his music is pretty much what I think about when I think "Pixar" tbh.

  3. It's all fun and games until Nintendo's had enough and releases Mario Kart 9, with black jack, and metal toad

That's great and all, but there's a FTP mobile Kart blocking the way.

Can we not have a smash kart please? I don't mind the guest characters but i don't want it to be rebranded to be "Super Smash Kart" or whatever.

@Dejimon11 No use clinging to the impossible. As long as mainline Mario keeps jamming in his ears to block out the fact there are plenty of appealing characters from the Paper, M&L, Yoshi, Luigi, DK Country and Wario spinoffs on standby to be picked up for the roster, Mario Kart is basically creatively bankrupt.

Ya think Sonic under-utilizes his secondary charcters?  Hohohohohoho... They have it easy.

Besides, why say no to what may be F-Zero last chance to make it's triumphant return??

Now people say that this years E3 was bad. Now I won't say it was great... but it wasn't Nintendo's E3 2008 press conference bad.

Yeah, Lusamine’s battle was the weirdest part of Gen VII.

      …Oh, that 7th gen.

  5. being born in 1991, I constantly have to remind myself that I don't get to look forward to sonic anniversaries without being just as old. for example when the 30th anniversary game comes out in 2021, I'll already be 30 myself too ohgodohfuc

  6. Toy Story 4 spoilers:

tbh if bonnie cared that little at the end of the day about woody then I almost wish he just went to college with andy

    still a good movie tho

Tbf it is a realistic portrayal of a child and their ever-alternating tastes.

  7. Really wish I got to see Tarzan and Treasure Planet in theaters growing up tbh, especially since we'll probably never get 2D animated movies on that sort of technical scale from an american studio again.

    1. QuantumEdge

      QuantumEdge

Or Atlantis and Dinosaur (I know the visuals for it aren't so hot now, but back then they were magical).  Point is the death of 2D in film is a tragedy the media never bothers to recognise.

    2. Ferno

      Ferno

Atlantis is another movie that I wish took off because like Titan AE, it was trying to be an all-ages animated film similar to any anime movie/ anime in general, but both flopped because we're so set in our ways of seeing animation as a kids medium and movie goers were confused.

    3. Sean

      Sean

I saw Atlantis in theaters, honestly I thought it was pretty terrible as a kid and looking back at it now I'm still not too fond of it. It's just kind of a mess and for some reason Atlantis (the city) doesn't have the appropriate mystique that the first third of the movie was building up to. That's subjective however. Treasure Planet is great though.

  8. boruto's generation is weak af tbh

      Marcello

I like that things have been toned down in Boruto. By the end of Naruto they were too crazy strong.

  9. my ctrl-z hand's kinda hurtin...really gonna need to ergonomic-i-tize my main workspace soon

  10. that attack on titan ep ended me tbh

  11. I never get tired of that little scanning noise that some game systems make nonstop as they constantly read the disc of the game you're playing. To me that's just a gaming sound(tm) *tries to look as lame as an E3 stage presenter while saying that*

    1. Adamabba

      Adamabba

With my Sonic Heroes disc there's this certain scanning noise right before a menu is about to finish loading that my GCN and Wii make. I found it interesting that both consoles made the exact same noise

    2. Ferno

      Ferno

thats the console cringing for a moment because its heroes amirite

  12. I'm almost tempted to track down a tiny CRT TV just to hook my gamecube to tbh. Or I may just track down a Wii since I need one anyway to finally play my copy of Rodea the Sky Soldier that I bought in case I'd ever have a Wii again

    1. Ferno

      Ferno

Also I'm kicking myself that I didn't get a Gamecube until 2005 because I have the later model that only has the AV cable option in the back. Basically the back of my Gamecube looks like this:

      It's like I'm being eternally punished for being a late adopter ;w;

  13. Toy Story 4 currently holds a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes. 1 percent less and it'll fall below the legacy of the previous films. Still even if it ultimately gets an 80 or something it'll still be good, it's just that, well, the other 3 set the bar impossibly high.

    1. SupahBerry

      SupahBerry

I mean 3 aleready fell under the legacy of the first 2 to begin with, but that might've had mostly to do with how it not being as easy to access and recap said first 2 (It did debut in countries who didn't get Toy Story before)

    2. Polkadi~☆

      Polkadi~☆

Toy Story 3's score on Rotten Tomatoes was ruined by one idiot, so I wouldn't look at the movie as being "inferior" for it.

But Toy Story 4, so it's apparently not as strong as the first three...

  14. It's funny how some of my fondest memories of Adult Swim are from before I was an adult compared to now. Just thinking back to many of my school years spent having it on with the volume low when I should've been in bed.

    1. Solly

      Solly

Same here man. That was part of my nightly ritual for so long, and I might've even gotten in trouble for it once or twice. Watching on school nights really wasn't the best idea, but younger me just had to catch the Detective Conan dub.

That period of my life... wasn't great, but it's nice to have at least some things to look back on fondly.
