Between the Scott Pilgrim movie and the Kick-Ass movies, things were looking good for indie comics for awhile back in the late 00's/ early 10's. they should start that up again but like, with animated film adaptations this time tho

everytime i start going down a rabbit hole of art tutorials i'm like "i don't know anything, I can't draw anymore actually- done forgot. draw.exe has crashed until further notice"

Tbh, I didn't even dislike Lost World's art style *too* much, it was really just the scaled back lighting that rubbed me the wrong way. Especially since other Wii U games like MK8 and Mario 3D world had simplistic art styles AND great lighting effects at the same time.

basically hibernated last night since today is a day off and i feel like i could fight a bear and beat that bear at a game of chess, both physically and mentally topped off. (i suck at chess so if i could beat a bear i'd really be doing something shut up)

Disney are dropping the word “Fox” from its acquired studios, so 20th Century Fox is reverting to 20th Century Studios for the first time since the 30s.
Fox Searchlight Pictures is also now just Searchlight Pictures.

Sony is skipping E3 again? Ah bloody hell..
Look, I get it, E3's general relevance has been in question for a while now and Sony is only 1 of the big 3... but this is still a major downer imo. If E3 fully goes, wtf is there to look forward to during that entire quarter? It's always been a fun, almost holiday like event where the gaming community can just come together to either riff on or get hyped about the industry. A time of year when you could always bet on something happening. If these no shows keep happening... damn man.
Not to mention the fact that both Sony and Microsoft don't even do anything with their little directs most of the time.

i miss E3 feeling like the super bowl for nerds every year. it's not the super bowl if none of the teams show up to play ball
