  1. That's my final haul. Spent more than I intended (Standard), but all that should keep my occupied until the next sale at the very least.
  2. System Shock 2 is currently £1.04. What are you waiting for?
  3. Steam sales are always a very painful time for my wallet. Currently looking at: The Witcher 1 & 2 South Park: The Stick of Truth + DLC (which became useless after about half an hour of playing :/) Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Monaco Octodad:Dadliest Catch Prison Architect Amnesia: Machine for Pigs The Walking Dead Season 2 Plague Inc Evolved Darks Souls: PTD Edition Castle Crashers There is something wrong with me and I need help
  4. Yes! I bought Risk of Rain months ago, but the difficulty has put me off from getting back into. And I completely forgot that it has online and local coop. Have yet to try out Monaco, but also up for giving that a blast. I'm also about to drop £5 on Dark Souls:PTD. Whoop Whoop! Steam Sale! YEAH!
  5. Ok, so I'm currently building up my wishlist in anticipation for Thursday, which is pretty much First Christmas now. Do you guys have any recommendations for anything I absolutely must have in my library? My wishlist currently consists of: Skyrm: Dragonborn The Forest Plague Inc Dark Souls 1 & 2 Thief Goat Simulator So what am I missing? I really don't know why I'm asking, as I still have shitload of games from previous sales that I haven't even got round to installing yet.
  6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRxcSNaVCPA&feature=youtu.be 3 DAYS I'm still not ready. Every year is the same for me: "Oh, I won't spend too much this yearBOOM£60ANDADOZENGAMESI'LLPLAYONCE". And that's usually just the first day...
  7. Pro-tip: if you add any games you're interested in buying to your wishlist, you'll get notified when they go on sale/daily deal etc.
  8. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZsd6OR3R9k A more accurate representation of the gameplay than the scripted bullshit in the official video. So it's basically a more polished version of Counter Strike CT maps. And I'm ok with this. I haven't played Rainbow Six since Raven Shield, and this has definitely piqued my interest in the series again. It also looks like it could foster a decent competitive community, so long as there is some variety in maps and gamemodes. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

I, too, became interested in learning more about Objectivism after playing Bioshock. So I made the mistake of buying and attempting to read Atlas Shrugged. That was 6 years ago, and since then I've never gotten more than 100 pages into it, and I still don't know anything about Objectivism. Just don't bother with it.
  10. happy birthday!

  11. Sorry it's so late, but I hope you had a great birthday!!

  12. Happy Birthday Man with the amazing avatar.

  13. Happy birthday!

  14. Brand would make an ideal politician; he can talk for hours without actually saying anything.
  15. Holy shit. Apart from the fact that Penny is the most relatable character in the show, you cannot decry her for being a slut (way to go with the shaming, gg) when she's in the same show as Wolowitz; a character whose main character trait is that he likes to chat up women. Up until Bernadette is introduced as a love interest (and thank fuck she was, amirite) Howard was a complete wannabe Lothario, going so far as to hire an escort to a dinner party. He was far worse than Penny ever was. Nice double standard. Sexism is over, right?
