  1. Have you ever actively used a forum that was dedicated to something you’re not even a fan of?

For me, it’s... been this forum, tbh. Lol

this is the only forum i go to... and even though it's been pretty rough for sonic for so long now im still hanging on as a fan lol

It's more like I fucking love Sonic but don't feel like talking about it as much anymore

Here, yeah. I’m still interested in Sonic but I have zilch desire to talk about it or discuss the err...”deep lore”. I’m just here to shoot the shit in the statuses these days.

  2. I choose this one because it looks goofy as hell and I love it. Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures is a freaking oddball of a game, I tell ya.
  3. I just realized today’s the 10th anniversary of Wii Sports Resort.

  4. Can’t comment much on the situation because I barely knew the guy, but it’s always depressing to see someone took their own life away. Hope his family is able to recover from it, and may he rest in peace.

  5. Well, I’ve officially graduated from high school. The ceremony for it went by great, even tho I was almost late for it.

High school actually turned out pretty great for me. Better than middle school for sure. I’m actually gonna miss it.

  6. My graduation’s tomorrow. Wish me luck.

It's okay. Speaking as someone who graduated recently, I wish you all the luck possible.

What the fuck is a Sonic's 28th anniversary

Well it's almost 12 AM here making it the 24th soon enough. Still, I had an overall great time today and may they not mishandle Ape Escape as badly as Sonic has been through recently.

On one hand: Yay, they're acknowledging Ape Escape!

On the other, why are they bothering celebrating a series that they've virtually ignored for almost 10 years now?

It’s one of Sony’s most popular IPs in Japan, so it makes sense for it to give a anniversary celebration, regardless the timespan of the last games.

And honestly, do you want them to ignore the series even moreso?

Seems crazy that they would release virtually nothing for almost a decade if Ape Escape is so popular.

I mean, I'm SO up for the series getting some love again. Just seems odd to me.

It's a bit like western PSO2 for me. A "Why didn't you do this so much sooner" kind of thing.

I mean, Konami didn’t release anything Bomberman related for 7 years and Activision refused to do anything Crash related for 8 years.

Sometimes, these franchises take long hiatuses. It’s questionable, but who cares? They’re back!

    8. PC the Hedgehog

      PC the Hedgehog

Yeah, I'm excited either way! Just glad the franchise isn't dead. Sadly, I haven't been a Playstation fan since PS3, mainly because they really don't make the kind of games I like anymore (like Ape Escape, for example), so I can't really justify buying a PS4 (or god forbid a PS5) just for Ape Escape. I'll still watch the heck out of online videos of a new game, though.

A remake of the original trilogy would be interesting. Since each game had a different set of voice actors, which cast would you like to see reprise their roles--the LA-based cast from the third game, the New York-based cast from the second, or the random schmoes who Sony probably just grabbed from one of their random offices and said, "Here, voice these guys"?

Yeah, not a huge fan of the stuff Sony’s been releasing this decade. I really miss their most cartoony games. Still, I found a decent amount of games to justify my PS4 purchase, regardless.

As for the voice acting thing, I would prefer if they got the LA actors back, since I felt they did the best work in the series. But, let’s be real, they’re gonna have a entirely new cast for the next game. It’s just a series staple.

  8. Dreams on PS4. The game’s still in early access, but I’m really enjoying it so far. A lot of the content creators can make some really creative games and homages to other franchises. It’s a bit mechanically complex for me to make really anything of substance on it, but it’s still really cool. I’m really hoping the community ends up growing soon, especially since it’s such an improvement over LBP3 (which MM had barely anything to do with, but I digress.)
  9. I really hope this game doesn’t do the exact thing Rio did and limit the new characters to specific events. That, and the lack of Dream Events solidified that game as being the worst one in the series for me. Otherwise, the game looks nice. i’m glad they’re giving the characters unique outfits. Reminds me of Mario Tennis Aces.
  10. I know a lot of people would rather have a proper TTYD sequel over it understandably, but I really want a SPM sequel, lol.

I just want original characters back. I don't care about continuity.

  11. Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures is the greatest game ever made, don’t @ me.

  12. The fact that the controller included with it is a recreation of the original PS1 controller rather than the DualShock means there’s no chance of Ape Escape being on here. Therefore, I have no interest in it. It is funny to me how Sony is starting to follow another one of Nintendo’s trends again. Can I expect an “Xbox Classic” from Microsoft soon?
  13. Finally, this had gotten announced. I’ve been waiting for this game since Pocket Camp got released. I spent hours on both NL and the GCN one, so I’m definitely looking forward to this. Hoping they bring back the town size and the fifteen villager limit from the GCN game back.
  14. Already own the Switch version, and the fact it has Denuvo too kinda turns me off of it... ...But at the same time, the fact it has dual audio makes it tempting to me as well. Seriously, though, that alone would make me buy this if I didn’t already own it on Switch. But really, though, why haven’t they bothered localizing Chronicles yet? Seriously, I would have totally took a localization of that game over this PC port. I really want to play it.
  15. I haven’t played Forces yet (nor do I plan to) and it’s been a long while since I played Lost World, but from the looks of it, I think I’d like Lost World more. Forces to me looks like a poor man’s version of Generations with a poorly-made story that almost makes me wish they went back with Pontaff’s style of writing, really awful controls (which I actually experienced myself since i did play the demo), crap “level design”, and that lame avatar gimmick. Lost World isn’t particularly good and I don’t see myself playing through it again, but atleast it was nicely polished, had some level design, and controlled okay for the most part. This might change if I do end up playing Forces, but I honestly doubt it.
