  6. I quite agree with Lil'Wayne- Modern games just completely lack something that retro games have, maybe it's the nostalgia aspect, but to me, I've always found retro games a whole lot more enjoyable. The one thing that really does it for me is the music and gameplay, I just find on a whole, the gameplay is so much more addictive, and the old school music kicks modern game music's ass I've always loved the SNES, Mega Drive and PS1 most, the latter two most likely because they were my Childhood all summed up into one. If I'm about to play a video game, 90% of the time I will plug in one of the three following 3 consoles mentioned. Not only these, I have a huge soft spot for the majority of retro consoles, including all the Game Boys, GameCube and PS2. Was never too fond of the Saturn or Game Gear and sadly, as ashamed as I am to admit it, I have never owned a N64 or Dreamcast- I must change this soon. It's sad really, I have tried so hard to move forward into the current generation of gaming, I really have, but after purchasing 15 games on the Wii and 4 on the X-BOX 360, I just cannot get into them. They just hold no interest whatsoever to me, despite everyone else's love towards them. The only one I can like and tolerate, is the DS.
  7. Best Sonic X track along with Sonic's Fight ♥
  8. Sonic X came out just as I was hugely getting back into the Sonic fandom and, when I was new to the world of the internet. I remember being super excited seeing screenshots and getting hyped for it to eventually air on TV. I remember first seeing it on CITV, completely by surprise. I recall squealing with excitement and my Mum telling me off for being 11 years old and getting so excited over a 'drawing', little did she know how long my Sonic fandom was going to last, haha. Anyway I remember at the time I enjoyed Sonic X quite a bit, but was annoyed that Sonic had become rather distant, keeping himself to himself and sleeping non stop, not to mention there being so much music o.o Fast forward to now. I still love Sonic X, and, is currently my favourite animated Sonic. I've never understood why it's always had so much hate, I thought it was really good, with a lot of emotional moments. Hell, I've never even minded Chris.
  9. That's really good considering it's a first attempt. Keep up the good work
  10. Yes. To me Sonic games these days are lacking, and this would be the perfect bonus feature to make them more interesting, plus, something to keep you coming back after you complete the game. it was one of the best things in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 and the main thing which kept me playing again and again.

  12. Welcome to the forums- EmmBee, AzureHedgehog and ZapBas! I hope you all have a fantastic time here
  13. I'm an only Child and have never had any friends. I've only ever played 2 player once, and that was last year when my friend brought round his Wii controller and we played Mario Kart Wii. So. Freaking. Fun. Oh, and a couple of times with friends at arcades. So yes, it kinda sucks to be me D: Being on your own 24/7 means you miss out on awesome things like these.
  14. Hmm, depression is a regular thing for me, and, it never reality motivates me into playing video games (I usually sleep). However if you replace 'depression' with 'feeling unwell or under the weather' I do tend to have games I play during these periods. I've always found the first 4 Mega Drive Sonic games great to play during these dark moments. They never fail to cheer me up. I think it's because of the nostalgia and the fact the colours are bright/music cheery, it just instantly makes you feel better For some reason, I find the Mario Kart games great to play, as well. Whenever I'm having a bad day or feeling unwell, a good game of Mario Kart always help liften the mood. Oh and bizarrely, whenever I have a cold, I always stick on the original 3 Crash Bandicoot and Spyro games. It's a habit I've had since I was a Kid, and it's always stuck.
