XD While the team still needs a bit more time before we can provide another big update video *cough* Riverside Park Act 2 *cough* but in the meantime, Shiro (a member of the team) added the ability to have AI characters into the Gmate engine (the engine the game runs on) so here's a little Sonic and Tails test XP Let me know if we should keep the Sonic and Tails combo in the game!
  4. I guess I'll list my least favourite zone/act from each of the main series Sonic games. Sonic 1: Labyrinth Zone Act 3/Scrap Brain Act 3 - this one's a tie cause they're both underwater trash lmao Sonic 2: Metropolis Act 3 - the fact that it exists when zones before Metropolis only had 2 acts. Also the first two acts were tedious to begin with. Sonic CD: Wacky Workbench both zones - that one gimmick that covers the entire fricking zone Sonic 3: Carnival Night Act 2 - the barrel is easy as shit but one of the only acts I can legit get a time over on Sonic & Knuckles: Sandopolis Act 2 - Music is kickass but that's all it has going for it Sonic Adventure: Any level in Big's Story - why fishing in my sonic Sonic Adventure 2: Meteor Herd - I was legit stuck on this stage on the gamecube version for months lol Sonic Heroes: Rail Canyon/Bullet Station - let's have rail-heavy levels with awkward as hell rail controls great idea Sonic 2006: Too many to count also I gave up halfway through Shadow's story XP Sonic Unleashed: Most of the night levels - Too long, tedious and bullshit Sonic Colours: Planet Wisp - I love all the zones in Colours but I found Planet Wisp kinda meh. It's not bad at all but meh compared to the others. Sonic Generations: Planet Wisp - they made it worse thanks sonic team Sonic Lost World: Lava Mountain Zone 2 - just no.

  6. In a 3D scenario, I think the homing attack is utilized well. The main purpose of the homing attack in Sonic Adventure was to make destroying enemies more easier in a 3D environment and it achieves just that. The homing attack can also be used to pick up speed more quickly as I tend to spam it whenever Sonic comes to a stop and has to pick up speed again lmao However, it could lead to faults in the level design like homing attack bridges. I find it quite lazy when levels in Unleashed, Colours and Generations sometimes have a series of spinners (or flying badniks) over a bottomless pit just to utilize the homing attack. If it was used in more interesting ways then yeah, the homing attack could be more beneficial to 3D Sonic. In a 2D scenario, the homing attack should not exist. One of the major flaws of Sonic 4 was the homing attack and the introduction of homing attack bridges in 2D levels. As a continuation of the classic trilogy, the homing attack just doesn't fit well into 4 and 2D Sonic as a whole, when just jumping on enemies is a lot more easier and satisfying.

PROJECT SURVIVAL SONIC STADIUM THREAD From the people behind Sonic Adventure Emerald and Sonic Legends comes a brand new adventure set in the classic era where there is danger around every corner. It's a fight to bring the island back to peace, but also a fight for survival. I'm The Blue Renegade, the creator of Sonic Adventure Emerald and I will be the leader of the Project Survival development team. This game is the first fan game to used Shiro's GMATE engine (an engine the rest of you have to wait until next year for before you ask) where we have close enough 1:1 physics and structure similar to the classic era of Sonic along with level design suited for speed and platforming by yours truly lol What we, as a team, aim to achieve with this fan game is a classic experience similar to the likes of Sonic 2 and 3 but also bringing new gimmicks and such to the table to make it stand out from other fan games. It's easy to get lost in a crowd. The game will mostly contain custom/edited art from the likes of Goncas and SonicHex to bring alive brand new innovative zones, maybe with some inspirations tossed in there. We planned to have a demo of Riverside Park Act 1 ready for December's SAGE but now that's been pushed back to next year, it allows us to create a full zone demo of Riverside Park which will consist of 3 acts along with Tails and Knuckles as playable characters. We only have two videos released about the project and that's its teaser and Riverside Park Act 1. Hopefully from these videos alone you can gather the nature of this fan game but please take into account this is not what the final product may look like and things are subject to change.   8. The most recent main Sonic game to impress me was Generations, 5 years ago. In terms of spin-offs, I did enjoy All-Stars Racing Transformed which came out 4 years ago. Here's to hoping the 25th Anniversary title will be somewhat decent.

I only started watching anime and reading manga in September of last year but trust me, I don't regret it lmao Anime that I've watched and recommend include Blue Exorcist, Toradora!, A Certain Scientific Railgun, The Devil is a Part-Timer and Kill La Kill. Feel free to suggest any anime to me that I should take a look at.

  13. I wish SEGA/Sonic Team would bring back Mighty and Fang in terms of dead Sonic characters. But they can dump Bean though. Was the bane of my Sonic the Fighters experience and that was ALREADY sub-par.
  14. I guess I'll list a few songs that have peaked my interest recently. Yay it's all anime openings XD I've also been listening to Undertale music since it's simply phenomenal. Favourites would be Bonetrousle, Death with Glamour, ASGORE, Megalovania and SAVE the World.
