Shadow the hedgehog had the good example of 3D Free roaming and platforming and explorations. its just the Free roaming areas were over-large and the missions were some times either boring or frustrating. but it was a good game, the Gun was a nice gimmick, the Story lines progression is a nice idea that isn't that-well executed. I Think they should take a look at Free roaming style of shadow the hedgehog and the story line progression and Work on executing that concept better (without missions, just multiple goal rings), I like your idea, TC.
  2. its not baseless. you Read my post correctly, their are a lot of un-used stuff, the Final boss Music is Longer than the actual boss fight, Their are Dark Egg pawns that were never used in Terminal Velocity, the Un-Used clips actually Reveals a possiable Sonic transformations, and Eggman does say 'Chaos emeralds' when they weren't in the story to begin with (or at least in the build we had). also put a link to your sources, you are not a developer. and we all know the iphone version of sonic 4 was an old build. we all know that the E3 Demo of Sonic 06 before release was much better than the original Build. and I have an opinion, you don't need to bash it, just disagree reasoning why instead of bashing me. I am done posting about this subject.

'No' doesn't end the argument, he just put the word 'No' because he lacks some thing to say to defend his opinions. if I put a word No in this post, you would propably complain. Like I said, biased memmbers are biased. if you Reasoned why you thinked so in your post, maybe what you said would have made sense. Not rediouclous. the lack of sound test or concept art and the existense of the Robots in Terminal velocity and the un-used voice clips and the final boss music being far less than the actual battle, is a big reason for me to think that that might have been an old build.

How Can find the meaning of a sentence that only has 'No'? it makes perfect sense. one could make a mistake and upload an earlier build into the Original disk. it could work. i could do that if I was a developer.
  5. Wow, sonic team. I don't know what to say, Now i am sure they had more planned for Terminal velocity... that is just too bad But you know what, even before that, i wasn't surprised, the Phase 2 Music is too Long for the Second phase. I wonder if it was an Old build we got on release...
  6. It seems that ALL of the Objects (call them what you want) Except the Wisps and Boxes in Sweet mountain act 2 are in Sweet mountain act 1. Even Sweet mountain act 2 Feels like an extended version of act 1 (Like it started where Sweet mountain act 1 left of), which gives me the conclusion that both sweet mountain act 1 and 2 were going to be 1 Large level, seeing that the Whole mountain was their in Act 1 behind the capsule. And yes i mean rails that you grind on, Almost every Sonic fan calls them that.

Listen. all what i am saying sweet mountain act 2 Mountain textures and its rails was their after sweet mountain act 1, but the Red capsule prevented the player from entering it. but the whole mountain textures including the rails were their But hidden behind the Capsule. other levels only modifies internal parts. Sweet mountain act 1 and 2 might have been 1 stage in my opinion.
  8. You Concluded that some zones uses the same textures as the others, that is correct. but no one concluded that sweet mountain act 2 was in act 1 but hidden.
  9. I do realize that, but isn't it weird that Act 2 had its textures in Act 1 but behind the Goal? I haven't found sweet mountain act 3 or act 4 or act 6, it seems like sweet mountain act 1 and 2 were going to be 1 Large level.

  11. I don't what you are talking about. In Colors i don't see Objects popping out of no where (I barley see those) In Unleashed I See objects popping out of no where Way more. when i pick a level to start in sonic colors , i wait 3 to 5 seconds to start the level and i don't see objects popping out of no where at all. and when i lose, i can come back to an older place without seeing objects popping out of no where.

I think some reviewers aren't admitting that this game isn't the day time stages of unleashed (A.K.A all about speed running and quick reactions and speed boosting). sonic has momentum platforming like the classics and this game and some reviewers praise the game as if it was all about speed boosting. But I accept their opinion any ways.
  13. if you liked Sonic Rush/Unleashed day time stages, get Sonic Colors for the DS. if you liked Sonic 1,2,3,knuckles,sonic 3&k then Get Sonic Colors for The Wii. Sonic Colors Wii has speed,platforming and explorations more like the classics (specially sonic 3&1). Sonic colors DS Has thrilling speed and High Speed wisps but not much platforming at all like unleashed day time stages and sonic rush/rush adventure. so it all depends if you prefer rush or the classics styled games. both have an equal length, i don't think the games has length issues. RPG/JRPG Games are the ones are suppose to take a month, Platformers shouldn't take a long. Colors on Wii : takes 5 hours to complete the main story line, it takes 2 days to unlock every thing. Finally after that, you could speed run through each stage and that is a lot of fun, because their is a lot of multiple paths in each levels. and it has also a Nice surprise by collecting all red rings that i won't spoil it for you, but you will love it if you are a fan of the genesis sonic games.
  14. glad you like it. I might redo this run with even a better time and with the sound effects Aquarium park act 6 is one of the most well designed stages in the game.

  16. if you are talking about the werehog : I Never spoke of the QTE or the brawling or werehog's slow speed. Apparently I said 'Movement Controls', that means left and right and forward and backward. I also spoke about the Camera system. which provides a lot of explorations. Sonic team should make sonic run a little bit more than the werehog, and give him momentum jumping. that way his speed would increase by platforming, this is how it worked in the classics i believe.
  17. I just thought of some thing. SEGA Should remove the SPEED PORTIONS OF SONIC COLORS AS A WHOLE, then we won't need Drifting or quick stepping or any racing game mechanic. and even remove the boost. the 2D Portions are Amazing. 3D Portions are great, but what Sonic team needs to do is "Sonic Unleashed with only the night time levels and NO Brawling". That actually proves that platforming and explorations and mommentum physics could work in 3D. And NO MORE EMPTY SPEED AREAS:

Basically you have to find out the place to use the boost in sonic colors to obtain speed (within the 2D Portions) in addition to that you have to path through challenging platforming to go through the 3D speed sections (which has a lot of multiple paths and don't play them self), Unlike unleashed which has a Whole empty space of Show casing sonic's speed, while boosting really fast, you will Enjoy seeing the beautiful Cut scene. but to watch this automated running cut scenes without problems, you only need to drift (Sections like this appears a lot in adabat and chunan). Sonic isn't all about speed. the stages are suppose to be based around platforming and explorations and alternate routes, You have to find speed and multiple paths within each levelusing your skills , you shouldn't have a Speed-Free portions. Another point is that the stages and the physics are so calm in 2D&3D, unlike Unleashed (Which feels like some thing is rushing sonic).   19. I changed my mind. I would say tropical resort is the best one, No momentum with Pure High Speed Running (While feeling in control). it Truly shows Sonic's High Speed platforming and Running to get you into the game, and it starts just as you start the game. its music is so Great and Exciting. its a great opening zone. its like starting the game and Saying 'Wow' at sonic's speed, Tropical Resort is just giving you what you need "Free High Speed Platforming" to start the game and encouraging you to obtain Speed through momentum level design in the later zones, its like giving you a taste to work harder to obtain your speed in the later levels. and the best of it, their are no Cut Scenes in between (the first cut scene is the one after act 2 and it can be skipped). How Ever, I am only saying this because its an Opening stage, I usually Love large momentum level design in Each stage. but Like Green Hill Zone and Emerald Hill Zone, Zone 1 of Every sonic game can be Fast paced to Show case what sonic is truly capable of. Aquarium Park Zone (Specially Act 6 and Act 1) Comes close second.
  20. Episode 1 is Fun, its not rush and its not SA3 styled, a 10 Times better than those titles, a 10 Times worse than the classics. Basically "Colors with no wisps but Add the spin dash" Replace the hidden wisps areas and add hidden walls and hidden areas. Re-add the special stages in-game and add the double jump (the one colors had, instead of the air dash). Then its Episode 2. my only complain about episode 1 physics : Sonic floats a lot, causing uncurling. if the next episode plays like this : then i am happy.
  21. Here is how i can sum it up : Colors uses mommentum Physics Unleashed does not. Their for I like Colors more. Generally speaking.
