  1. I like'em both. I just find a little annoying that he uses Eggman to refer himself when Sonic and pals uses to mock him and he seemed annoyed by that (SA). It's a bit incoherent

  3. Well, color me hyped with this. The first time I watched Night of the Werehog I thought it would be great to watch a entire movie like that.
  4. I personally have no problem with the paid DLC, but with this crappy and lame way to pull it out. Seriously SEGA? Just the Super Sonic skin and that's all? Someone there in SEGA doesn't give a shit about Sonic anymore, I don't care who is...But the situation is just very worrying.
  5. Eh, I'm glad they (kinda) returned to the Uekawa official art style. Never was a big fan of this year style.
  6. The only problem I have with the game was the story. No matter which branch you choose, it destroys everything set in Sonic Adventure 2, imo. The branch system was a very clever idea and it fits Shadow personality, but the plot was really bad. Everything else it's just fine by me. If anything, I felt the graphics very outdated by that time, especially comparing them to the CGI cutscenes.
  7. I'm fine with the body proportions...It just seems they only thought about boys (and their simple outfit) but didn't think very much about girls (You only have one part for body with options like a scarf and that's all...you don't really have option to combine them).
  8. Kumatani left SEGA in 2008. She worked as event music composer in Sonic Colours though, maybe as external composer. I still think it was a great loss for SEGA and Sonic, she has a really unique style and since Colours it seems she hasn't worked on anything else after that.
  9. This + Story NOT written by Pontaff, really hate how stories have been developed since Colours. I rather have Maekawa back again with stories like Black Knight, for example. Or Kiyoko Yoshimura, Unleashed and Sonic X writer. Playable Characters. Not neccesary have to be like Sonic gameplay but make them optional to main game/sidequest/another perspective of the story like the Classics (like Knuckles in Sonic3K and Mania). So then no one could complain about "booh, I have to play as Big in order to see the final" ) Some difficulty like in Sonic Adventure 1 & 2. I want some challenge in Sonic games again. Collectables like Sonic Unleashed. I LOVED collectables in that game, specially the extra videos. Oh...and Senoue as Sound Director again. I really like Ohtani, but I think Senoue works as Sound Director were more varied and colorful (and Crush 40 OF COURSE)
  10. You know, Classic Sonic was silent in Generations and Forces and sure he's supposed to be different from Modern Sonic...but yeah, I don't really like that approach.

This is something I was thinking some time now...Already in Lost World, I thought that the quality of the songs had dropped considerably and I didn't quite understand why because Ohtani has done some fantastic job bejore, so I started to do some research... If we take a look in past videogames where Ohtani worked as Sound director we can find some interesting things about composers: Sonic 2006: Tomoya Ohtani, Mariko Nanba, Hideaki Kobayashi, tai-hey, Takahito Eguchi, Seirou Okamoto, Jun Senoue. Sonic Unleashed: Tomoya Ohtani, Kenichi Tokoi, Fumie Kumatani, Hideaki Kobayashi, Takahito Eguchi, Mariko Nanba Sonic Colours: Tomoya Ohtani, Fumie Kumatani, Kenichi Tokoi, Naofumi Hataya, Hideaki Kobayashi, Mariko Nanba, Yukifumi Makino But since Sonic Lost World, the number of composers started to decrease: Sonic Lost World: Tomoya Ohtani, Takahito Eguchi, Naofumi Hataya, Jun Senoue The only reason why Senoue is credited here is because they had reused a song from Sonic Adventure 2. And now for Sonic Forces (from what I can recall from Ohtani words, because I didn't see the tracks credits): Tomoya Ohtani, Naofumi Hataya, Kenichi Tokoi. So the reason why the quality of the soundtrack of recent games has dropped is that there are not as many composers working in the new games as in past games and almost all the main composition work is falling on Ohtani's shoulders (This makes the quality of his work suffer). Maybe there's no enough budget for soundtrack as before?
  12. By now, I prefer a new game with hand-drawn 2D rather than 16-bit style or 2.5D...I'd love to see something in the likes of Rayman Origins/Legends...I think something like that with Sonic environments would be outstanding.

  17. Sometimes they change the original intro from foreign series to use a more like-anime intros...It's not the case with Sonic Boom though The japanese dub is available in Netflix Spain, so I guess Netflix UK must have it too, but It seems it's not available for America.
  18. I really don't know where to ask or if I need to make a topic about this...but... I have a question for my europeans fellows who pre-ordered via PlayStation Store...Did you get all the pre-order bonus stuff? I asked a friend and he said he got nothing...It's only for America or what?
  19. I don't really think it's a Maekawa thing only, but SEGA/Sonic Team thing (maybe Naka or Iizuka at some point?)...In Sonic X he was only a supervisor for Adventure arcs and the series didn't go deep in Sonic's backstory either.

  21. ? I don't have any problem playing Sonic Dash lately...I'm playing on iOS 8.3 (yeah, it's a pretty old version) on an iPad 3. What I noticed since last update is that they eliminated the landscape mode and the Online events. A shame, I really liked the online matchs Check your iOS version and you can always ask kindly to Hardlight in twitter if they're aware of the problems in the game (If something broke when I was playing I usually tell them there and they always answer me and next few weeks they fixed the problems).

Round 2...Sonic Generations (360 and 3DS) At first I thought about posting my ballots in game releases order...but I have realized that this way I would give more points to a game that may not be one of my osts faves and then not to have time to post about the ones I really think are the best...So I arranged the games I think have the best soundtracks for me and post them in first place...   23. Out of curiosity, how is it that Sonic Boom Fire & Ice didn't make it in the final list? Personally I think its songs are better than the other 2 games from the series. It's not like I really care, we got plenty game songs to vote...
