  1. Tails' campaign beaten now. That was... well it wasn't bad, but it was pointless. It's basically just Sonic's campaign, but missing half the levels. The levels are are cut short and working your way through them is trivial thanks to flying. Not even Speed Highway, which attempts to deviate from being a C&P of Sonic's stages really does much to stand out. The idea that you're racing is just... bleh. The stages are so easy that it never pans out. The story side of it being parallel to Sonic's is alright, and then everything post Sky Deck is actually rather good. Decent enough campaign, just feels superfluous.

Not as good as Sonic or Knuckles', but much better than Big's.

I failed to mention earlier that I actually really enjoyed Knuckles treasure hunting stages. They're a bit too small and easy, but they're actually fun. The levels are open so that you can easily move from point A to point B without needing to follow specific maze-like routes (i.e. SA2's Death Chamber). They're quite fast too. If the locations were bigger, they'd be great.

Tails is holding down his position as easy mode in SA1. As much as I dont get much out of it now I think about how it was the first campaign I was able to finish when I was 5 a lot and 5hibk its short length actually has some value in that context. The levels that are there need more for experienced players to chew on though.

      I missed this post earlier.

I can see where you're coming from. But I think it would be better without the racing aspect, and if the stages opened out more like Speed Highway does.
