  1. Underrated Sonic fact: I really love the sprite work for the Adv/Battle games. Particularly how paring Sonic with Amy changes her entire sprite work. It's such a cool attention to detail and one of the few times I thought Amy was cute.

      They're great but I always thought some sprites looked incredibly weird such as Sonic's full speed running animation in 2 and 3. I also don't like his face sprite whenever he's facing the player lol

      @Sean Agreed with that; he always looked like he was running faster than he could handle. Also really bugged me that Knuckles' sprites throughout the Advance series were obviously edits of Sonic. I think Tails and Amy used the same base as each other in the original Advance game too, but it was nowhere near as obvious.

      Quite possibly. But Sonic and Knuckles stuck out too much. Like, there was no question about it and it was obvious from just a quick glance, especially with the aforementioned running animation.
