Chao is a bizarre choice but also unexpected, so I'll give them props for that. I dig it. I'm actually not too fussed about which characters get in as long as they're interesting and unique from each other. I do think Blaze should get in though. With a sweet hot rod or something. Speaking of vehicles, I'm not really feeling the designs this time round. They're nice but they don't quite 'pop' like the previous games'.

A good OST overall I'd say. I like the electronic style and use of vocals. However there are some duds here and there. The Avatar easily has the best/ most interesting music. Imperial Tower is a banger. The only issue I have is that, like the levels themselves, they're too damn short :< Modern Sonic is very hit and miss and you probably already know what I'm going to say here. Using that synth as the leading instrument in almost every song. I just don't understand why. These compositions aren't even bad. They're good! They have catchy melodies! But the instrumentation doesn't fit and it lets it down. I will say though that Metropolitan Highway is awesome. Classic Sonic suffers from the same problem really. Green Hill Zone is what happens when you give too much red cordial to your Genesis. His music also doesn't really fit with the rest of the music. I usually skip these tracks tbh.

Speaking of Hooters, did you hear those airhorns? :V And that White Jungle Remix! So glad they're revisiting Shadow's themes from SA2. Looking forward to the complete OST.
