  1. Just came across an ad with nice Sonic and Tails animations that I had to share.

  2. What happened to The Witcher 3 for Switch? Haven't heard a release date yet and I'm really considering getting it.

      Next month I believe

Just checked and from the looks of things it might be delayed since it just says TBD. Considering how much its pushing the limits of the handheld, not surprised if it does.

  3. CX9B2BJ.gif

Starting to work on clean draw animation. Considering I'm a perfectionist, it becomes very time consuming.

  4. I've been hoping Cassandra makes it into Soulcalibur 6. She's my second favourite after Zasalamel. She's here now, dude! XD

    sK2S2Ha.jpg

Sure, her move set is similar to Sophitia but it's her bubbly personality that I like the most.

  5. Um...I don't get involved in political discussions and I'm not American.

I honestly thought "Fake News" was, well...fake. But I've been shown multiple examples that prove it to be real.

Be careful where you get your News from and confirm the information if possible. I always thought the News was about telling the truth but that seems to no longer be the case.

Don't trust stuff like that Dan.  A lot of these people claiming "Fake news" a) Trust heavily biased sources and b) Still claim it's fake even if it's proven true.  The "Fake News" movement is something Trump started to protect his own hide.

      DanJ86

I wasn't sure myself but Tim Pool (The person in the video.) isn't a Trump supporter and considers himself a moderate, so...it sounds really complicated.

    3. Diogenes

      Diogenes

      it's not actually that complicated.

shitty people lie. as easily and as often as they breathe.

someone with no actual integrity has no problem lying about their beliefs to frame themself as an impartial observer to get you to trust them, as they spread more bullshit. they'll flip the truth on its head, tell you everyone else is a liar and they're the only one you can trust, and if you make the mistake of giving them that trust, they'll drag you further and further into their web.

Poe's Law is an A++ bitch. But much of the blame can fall on those that choose to go way too far with making up stuff like that.

    5. DanJ86

      DanJ86

When you put it like that, I guess it really isn't that complicated.

I was first made aware of this trend from trash websites like Kotaku, CNet, CBR and other similar ones going out of their way to insult gamers, specific Youtubers and Twitch players.

Then on the very same day Trump blames violent video games for the mass shootings, those same sites suddenly defend gamers...

      …….

    6. Diogenes

      Diogenes

nobody attacks "gamers" just for being gamers. but there's a subset of gamers who get really upset when anything they like about games, or their own shitty behavior, gets criticized, and they try to rally people to their side by framing it as "us gamers" vs some anti-gamer "other".

There's been a rapid raise in fake news around here since Bolsonaro won the elections. He basically only won because people kept mass spreading fake news through WhatsApp and Facebook daily. I'm frankly am considering leaving the country ASAP.

    8. tailsBOOM!

      tailsBOOM!

      @Jango good luck with that

    9. Jango

      Jango

If only was a matter of luck xD Pretty sure you heard of the maniac, right? Since you're from the States, and Bolsonaro's been licking Trumps' ball lately.

  6. Would anyone else be interesting in the possibility of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger coming to Switch?

    1. Ryannumber1gamer

      Ryannumber1gamer

I'd be happy with it, I love the Ty games.

I just wish it was for all consoles, instead of just Switch. I'd rather be playing it on a PS4 with better specs and trophy support.

    2. DanJ86

      DanJ86

Maybe you could request the alternate versions? The Kickstarter is up now and PC was also listed. I'm not really sure how much extra work it would require but it never hurts to ask.

    3. Ryannumber1gamer

      Ryannumber1gamer

Don't need to, they say in the video that if the stretch goals are met, they'll be porting it to all consoles.

Huh. And here I thought EA were still holding the rights to that. Good to see that's not the case.

  7. Been feeling pretty downtrodden lately. Can't focus, lost my drive. Then I see this video in my YouTube recommendations:

    ZvnXObC.png

  8. Can't be cheerful today.

Pretty disheartening to watch the media go around blaming everything and everyone when a tragedy happens.

It's my belief that the media are as much to blame as any other outlets, based on what I've seen.

    1. Sonic Fan J

      Sonic Fan J

I completely agree and its rather sad. Sensationalism only makes things worse, but it's how the press makes their money and the relish it even as they inflict harm for their owns ends. It's sickening.

  9. I've never heard of this "Ooblets" game, but it sounds like the developers really hate gamers.

  10. Damn. I have the tools to record my voice but I just don't like how I sound. Plus whenever I click record, I seem to lose the ability to speak. T_T

    1. Crow the BOOLET

      Crow the BOOLET

I feel like that myself to be honest. I do have a bit of a deer in the headlights when I record stuff but I'm still new to it.

      Just for it man.

When I started my YouTube channel, I didn't like how I sounded either. It was partially due to my mic at the time, but I got used to it sort of quickly. I was improving my use of it before switching to the current, better quality mic. Well, now I'm enjoying the better quality that came with it.

And even though I got a script for the video written out, I can mess up (like reading & speaking it just fine then all of a sudden, blank) like 5-times before getting it right. Luckily most of the time I can just edit those areas out.

      Failinhearts

It can be hard. It was especially anxiety inducing for me.

Just take a leap of faith and try, you'll realize it gets easier every time. I believe in you!

    5. NegaMetallix

      NegaMetallix

@DanJ86 Yeah, same. I don't always like listening to recordings of my own voice (which isn't good considering what I'd like to do in the future). It always seems to sound... off, for some reason.

That said, it's still worth giving a try.

    6. DanJ86

      DanJ86

A better quality mic? I wonder if that would help.

My current one (Which I didn't know existed until very recently.) is built into my computer. It's a tiny dot above the screen which makes it feel odd to talk in to.

Another crude animation, this time with two characters. Gonna experiment with ways to display impact.

When I think of how cartoons would showcase pain, I think classic Tom and Jerry did it best in my opinion. Ed Edd n Eddy did it in it's own style which looked comical and impactful too.

  12. HymCYC5.gif

Now practicing animation with a character. It's rather crude looking but I'm hoping it looks like he is emerging from below and waving hello.

    Hi.

  14. I don't know the whole situation with what's been going on with Vic Mignogna. It sounds like a lot of misinformation has been going around but at this time, I'm unwilling to make a judgement on it all yet.

One thing I do know is that this person had a very positive experience with him that seemed to have a major impact on their view of the world.

I just saw this tweet being shared and thought it was nice so I shared it too.

Well I'm willing to make a call, and I ain't standin' with a guy that regularly gets touchy with underage girls.

I wonder how Rial's last experience with him went.

    3. Dejimon11

      Dejimon11

This entire situation is confusing. Cause im hearing that the funi voice actors were doin some shaddy stuff and the 14 year old vic kissed on the check outright said she got the consent from her parents who were there. It's like what's the truth?

    4. DanJ86

      DanJ86

@Dejimon11 That's stuff that I heard too. I also heard stuff about Anime News Network publishing Photoshopped pictures and I think it was Kotaku that proved they were doctored.

I've been reluctant to get involved in any debates about it due to fear of being branded an idiot or something, simply because I'm having doubts.

  15. Perhaps this is common knowledge but I had no idea how manipulative old school media was.

I'm sure it's not true for all but damn.
