    To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Sonic Unleashed. The gameplay is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the level design will go over a typical player's head. There's also sonic's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his werehog form - his personal philosophy draws heavily from  Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these themes, to realize that they're not just epic- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Sonic Unleashed truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the QTEs in Jungle Joyride," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Sonic Team's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them.

    I love 3&K, but I really do get fatigued by the time I end the game. It's a little long for it's own good, especially the Sonic playthrough. I start to lose momentum around Sandpolis Act 2 or Lava Reef. But yet, it's just better to play it all in one sitting.

    I'm a bit weirded out at the fact that I used to have a somewhat lukewarm opinion on Sonic Rush Adventure, playing it now it feels super incredibly fun. I think I just wasn't used to how unlike the classics it was and maybe needed to adapt to the different emphases and mechanics.
