  1. The only anniversaries the Sonic Twitter have acknowledged so far this year are for Sonic 1 (which would be weird for them to miss) and Sonic CD. Literally everything else has fallen by the wayside.

So what I'm saying is aside from a bit of Sonic CD love, I don't think its bias that's making them miss these anniversaries.

I agree with @Thigolf saying that it's a bit surprising that they didn't acknowledge that Sonic Colours turned ten this year, but otherwise... It's strange to celebrate birthdays of individual games every year. The franchise as a whole is fine, and significant milestones too, but otherwise it would get boring and overwhelming if they were just like saying happy birthdays all the time. They're picking at random, and that's all that they really ought to be doing.

I'd wager there would be a few more that could be considered (Chaotix being 25, Shadow and Rush being 15, Sonic Shuffle...okay, that's a step too far), but otherwise yeah, mainly agree.

Meanwhile a SEGA account acknowledges Sonic R ‘s anniversary of all things

Eh, kinda but not really. Rush would be the most significant of those since it was born very well received and introduced Blaze. Chaotix is largely ignored and ShTH only really gets memed. Shuffle? Legit think that SEGA might have forgotten that that game ever even existed. They totally could talk about any of them, but I'm not missing them.

Now if SEGA wanted to port any of their older games to newer systems... Then they'd definitely be worth talking about.
