  1. Meanwhile! They have given us a sign! They have given us... A Shoe!
  2. I don't wanna over hype anyone but... It's easier for me to post that than all the employee tweets but... Entire SOE com team's personal accounts. Most the SOA personal accounts. Yakuza studio. Two point hospital studios. Puyo puyo account. Headlight. Zen Monkey Studios (twitter) Sega Shop community manager. Yuji Naka. A good chunk of SOJs community team/faces. Most of the Sonic movie guys. This doesn't happen unless something VERY significant is planned. The last time I recall a similar event happening was the 25th announcement. The other time was the reveal of Boom.
  3. Go read my topic about the Sonic wrestler you cowards!

  4. So I just got a call... FROM THE WRESTLER!!! Yeah so he joined YouTube, left a comment on the video... and then deleted the comment! So because I have comment notifications turned on, I get both a browser and email notification on any comment YouTube approves... So I'll just paraphrase the comment since if he deleted it I don't wanna publish something he's not ok with, but I think this should be alright since it's just a few clarifications and things we can pretty much have guessed. "A friend told him of my video, he was a massive Sonic fan growing up and his first match was in 2007. The "Yellow" Super Sonic wrestler from Mexico isn't him, and no he still won't tell us his real name." How do I know it's him... Well in my videos, I sometimes leave out some information or deliberately get something wrong, just in case someone out there knows more and can correct me and provide more details, and this guy was able to provide me with some information I knew but didn't say in the video. Someone either did way too much work for a windup... or it is him!
  5. A few months ago, I was researching the old Shadow the Hedgehog wrestling event (see link) and stumbled across something... else... For the last 14-20 years, this guy has been wrestling (unofficially) as Sonic The Hedgehog. So this guy is named 'Sonic' what's his real name, nobody knows, because he's lived and worked for so long as 'Sonic' his real name isn't anywhere online. Yes, that is what he wrestles in, a mask with Sonic spikes, a white furry patch on his chest, blue outfit and even has a pair of red shoes. There's not much video of him around, but there are full matches on youtube such as this one. Quality is quite bad, but in his ring entrance, he throws golden rings to the crowd. A much better video is this one... Yes that's his tag team partner Fang... And if you think it can't get anymore ridiculous, DCW also had a wrestler named "The Big Cat". Neither Fang or Big are Sonic related, only Sonic is Sonic related. He does have a Social Media presence, on My Space, which is long abandoned. There's a few interesting photos on there, including his take on some Sonic Adventure promotional artwork. Despite being a 'jobber' he actually wrestles and performs pretty well, he incorporates a lot of jumps, flips and rolls into his move set which does look quite sonicy, unfortunately he does lose a lot. How long has he been doing this for? Well most wrestling databases put his start date at 2006, but one lists him as being around since 1999. Is he still active? Well it depends who you ask.... because here is what he apparently looks like now! Notice the S on his... Crotch... it's very similar to the one on his old costume... So... a few databases claim this wrestler is a different one, but a few say they're the same guy. If it is the same guy, he now wrestles as Luchador on Mexican TV, still under the name Sonic. There is footage of him on youtube (can't find the link, a small sample is at 12:35 of the video at the start) and his costume looks a lot more in line with his DCW costume. He also performs a similar roll move to the DCW guy in the videos provided. And yes he does go over with the fans, they chant his name and cheer for him, it's quite surreal to see and hear fans chanting for 'Sonic' in a wrestling ring. Anybody here ever seen this guy?
  6. Come on mate. The article you quoted is nearly 10 years old and came from Iizukas PR goof years. Really only Lost World could be compared to a Mario style game and it's a bad comparison at that.
  7. ... ... ... For what job? Are we talking a C++ programmer? Level designer? Character designer? Environmental artist? Because virtually every single fan project typically shares roles and 1 person typically takes the lion share of the project work regardless as to if they're in the role of director or producer, and that's assuming the team even realises they have that role. If the 'Hire this man' line if you're going to use it in relation to Mania is a pretty misused term. Mania was pitched to Sega after several earlier pitches and already been hired to work on other smaller projects. And even then 'the man' who was hired went on and hired other people to do other jobs and roles he wouldn't and shouldn't be doing. Sega literally have a jobs/careers page where they have open roles for C++ Devs and all the other jobs I listed. Instead of telling Sega to hire this man. Tell the man to apply.
  8. Maybe if half of these people who start petitions and boycott claims actually had some qualifications and actual work experience and evidence driven results in the areas they were protesting then maybe they might be worth any attention. And that's if indeed these petitions and campaigns actually have an endgame. "Look I got all these people to write their name on this website!" Ok.... Now what do you plan to do...?
  9. I heard that Badnik Mechanic guy is alright. Channel link: https://youtube.com/user/Hogfather He make some in-depth documentaries on Sonic history and other obscure news. As well as some really in-depth merch news and some non Sonic gaming stuff. There's some news bits but even he hates doing those. And I hear he's planning on doing gaming retrospectives of Sonic and some non Sonic games in a few months. And he's a good swimmer and is a friend to the squirrels.

Whilst preparing a new Badnik Mechanic episode... I was building a Knuckles figure out of small Lego like blocks and... it went wrong...

I warn you... there is no going back when you click the link...

Oh god Nanoblocks, they're so fiddly and prone to falling apart.

      These ones are surprisingly durable.

I've been expecting the whole lot to fall apart but I'm surprised at how well they're holding up.

      WhoYouDontThinkIAm

I'd say yes, I've heard Sonic has some massive clout in the world of online message boards.

  12. As I said in the vid... Don't deny that even now as an adult you wouldn't think you were Sonic in the GHZ going through those tube slides.
  13. If you've followed my YouTube channel recently, hell even if you've seen some of my articles on TSS over my time writing for the site. You'll probably see that Brazil has an INSANE Sonic fandom. Well they've now opened a Sonic Adventure Playground for both kids and adults. So it's themed mainly around the Green Hill Zone and has a ton of classic imagery, but there's also a few modern Sonic items around, such as Generations GHZ assets and even Sonic Rush artwork (I mistook it for Sonic X whoops). But the thing I'm quite impressed with is that they have CLEARLY tried to do a good job theming this, there's item boxes everywhere for you to sit and stand on, there's spike traps. They've even tried to incorporate those blue rock obstacles. And yes this is actually open right now, all the staff are wearing covid face masks and shields... So yeah factor that in. Little more info about it on the official website/page for the shopping mall it's at including the "open for all ages" line
  14. Not to mention... You can show emotion in a character without them crying or blubbering ala Archie comics. Take this from Fleetways Sonic. Yeah we can take that panel out of context and meme it all we like.... But if you had that comic back in the day, turned the page and are presented with that, you cannot say that you cannot see in Sonic's face that he's feeling terror, anxiety, and sadness as he slowly realises that his friend who was fought along side him for over 170 issues has been killed.
  15. What about that Badnik Mechanic guy? My mum thinks he's cool.
  16. The first line in the first leak was... "I'm a playtester for Sega of America". QA/Playtesting isn't done at SOA. That right there is the end of it.
  17. Everybody knows the Sonic 06 topic was the Sonic Adventure 3 discussion topic.

The real SA3 topic was the friends we made along the way

  18. Generations DLC never made it into the PSN. No idea why but that's why you can't find that one. Only way to get it us with a code. As for the adventure DLC problem. I... think... you need to get the DLC from the respective store that the base game is. So if it's a US copy. You need to get the DLC from the US store.... I THINK that's how it works. Once it's downloaded and installed any account on that PS3 can access it. As to why it's not showing up. If you're trying to search via anything other than the console itself you won't find it. PS3 and Vita games were pulled from the webstores a few weeks ago, only way to access and download games for those systems is via the console itself.
  19. Just made a little edit. But so it's not lost here it is again. "If you are trying to guess what we saw from this. I'm around 90% confident that you will be utterly wrong. We did not see any new Sonic Game."
  20. You literally quoted a post that... Kinda makes it clear I won't divulge that info lol.
  21. All I can reveal is. You are not paranoid. There are hidden cameras in the walls. You are being watched.... And it is me who is doing the watching! ===== But for reals. I'm not the only person in the community who knew about it, another VERY well known individual also knows about it, I know this because we had a chat over 'what do we do with this information?' Basically, we got access to a bunch of information and it was one of those moments which was "This is... a goldmine for fansites... Really bad for Sega if we just post this... We really shouldn't have access to this!" and when we got in touch with Sega about it to confirm if it was supposed to be where we found it and well... lol... the contacts we had all seemed quite shocked that we found it... lol even the people we spoke to at Sega didn't even know about the planned announcements... It was that secretive! So I need to be cryptic here... Don't wanna give away where this info is (though I think it's been pulled now). This information wasn't on a Sega server, or something ran by Sega. It wasn't at all a case of 'Sega messed up' e.g. put their entire plans onto their press vault ala Sonic Unleashed' and had no verification on who could access it. It was more along the lines of a partner.Net scenario. E.g. I said I was this person, please can I have access to approved released material... Only instead of being given those credentials... I was given the credentials of a systems admin and could see EVERYTHING lol. So... yeah we had to mail Sega about it to see if it were approved content or if this company had screwed up our credentials. Let this be a lesson to any would be bloggers or youtubers looking for a quick fame hit. if I... or the other person had news'd that info... Whilst we wouldn't have been in any bother... It would have likely destroyed any faith/relationships built with Sega... Sometimes you have to let a megaton go. P.S. If you are trying to guess what we saw from this. I'm around 90% confident that you will be utterly wrong. We did not see any new Sonic Game.
  22. He also dropped a hint about it on this forum a few weeks ago in case when it was announced nobody believed he knew about it.
