I could be considered disabled in light of my very recent diagnosis of severe type 3 Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and I don't think that I or anyone should get away with being a jerkass on the count of age, disability, skin color etc. If you're capable of giving it, you're fully capable of getting it back. No exceptions.

      I mean being grouchy might be explained by having an ailment but it isn't justified by it. If I bit my mom's head off for some flimsy reason, I certain as hell wouldn't scapegoat my illness as a means of getting away with it.

      @JmTsHaWMy great grandmother bless her heart, used to be pretty bitchy to my mom and she let it pass over her head due to her age. I never abided by that line of thinking because nan had full control of her faculties and knew exactly what she was saying and letting it fly on basis of age is pretty ageist.
