  3. I just had a dream that I was awake and I woke up to find myself asleep.

  4. Seasons 2-8 of this show are so brilliant it's unbelievable. They are so consistent with only a handful of duds among 170+ episodes, even Season 1 is quite good although not up to the standards to follow and Season 9 has some nice episodes. That's what the vast majority of which is to follow such a travesty. Anyway i've been re-buying the earlier seasons on DVD because my old cases are absolutely tattered from when I was younger. I recently re-brought DVD copies of the Simpsons' Seasons 5 and 6 and the quality of output from this era is absolutely staggering. Episodes like Cape Feare, Homer's Barbershop Quartet, Rosebud and Homer Goes To College on Season 5, Disc 1 alone represent one of the high points of Television for me. The commentaries are also insightful and just as much fun as the actual episodes which says just how great they are, The show-runner for these two seasons was David Mirkin who is such a great commentator i'm actually considering buying some of his other work just for the commentaries. If you don't own any Simpsons on DVD you owe it to yourself to at least acquire these two seasons. With the exception of the clip show this era of 1993-1995 represents the shows arguable high point and there is not a dud here in my opinion. Having said that Season's 3, 4, 7 and 8 are just as excellent and the first two are still really great. Anyway favourite episodes from the first nine Seasons: Season 1: Krusty Gets Busted Season 2: Lisa's Substitute Season 3: Homer At The Bat Season 4: Marge vs The Monorail/Last Exit To Springfield (Tied) Season 5: Cape Feare (My favourite episode of all time) Season 6: Who Shot Mr. Burns Part 1/Lemon Of Troy (Tied) Season 7: 22 Short Films about Springfield Season 8: You Only Move Twice Season 9: Lisa's Sax

  6. There's nothing I would like to see more than Chemical Plant Zone in the upcoming Super Smash Bros if Sonic appears in it!

I'd go for City Escape if we had the GUN Truck as a stage hazard.

Sky Deck could actually work well with the walkways, giant laser and you'd have an excuse for it to be a death drop.

Y'know Sky Deck would be fantastic! The reason I said Chemical Plant is because of its popularity with casual gamers and its iconic music. (arguably also the case with City Escape and Ice Cap) They could find a way to make the water a hazard as well!

  7. I most often say Eggman now even though I grew up with the name Robotnik. It's the same situation with me sometimes referring to the SEGA Genesis although I'm more familiar with the Mega Drive name.
  8. Is it sad to admit I actually shed a tear when seeing Classic Mega Man in that trailer with the MM2 music?

    1. Blue Blood

      Blue Blood

      Nope.

Do you know how many people here shed a tear at the sight of Classic Sonic in the Generations teaser? That sort of stuff runs deep.

    2. spinny

      spinny

Not really. I was practically silently screaming inside, so it's fine, hah.

  9. Man I love that Windy Hill theme, actually it reminds me quite a bit of 60's baroque pop. Which of course means it sounds lovely!
  10. I predict sales of 3.5 Million+ for Lost World.

With 3DS + Wii U sales added altogether, sounds about right.

  11. I think Patrick Troughton might be my favourite Doctor after Tom Baker, followed closely by Matt Smith of course.

  12. TBH I would have preffered Sonic to be exclusive to Wii U and 3DS for a longer period of time. Why? Because i'm a greedy bastard and I want to play each and every new Sonic game as they come out without having to buy every single console. Also personally I just happen to think that Sonic suits Nintendo consoles like a glove.

  14. I wouldn't be surprised if the game used the Unleashed/Colours/Generations gameplay with more 3D Elements but I think its time to go for a fully 3D title again personally.
  15. Jesus, this topic's on page 102?! Also I agree that its a good thing that Sonic is such a colourful and bright game series, its what drew me to the franchise playing those classic Mega Drive games. Screw those who think that its too childish, Call Of Duty attracts a mainly teenage audience whereas games like Mario and Sonic appeal to everyone from the age of 6 to 60. Hell Sonic still has a shit ton of fans from the early 90's who have never left him.
