  1. I’m still not personally voting Biden, but at this point, he and democrats would have to try really fucking hard and do something incredibly moronic to loose the election after today

idk man, that's what everyone said in 2016, but lo and behold the shithead still ended up winning. obviously i'm hoping he loses this time, but i'm not super optimistic

i can, will, and do make fun of biden all the damned day

i was all in for bernie, all the fuck in, i will never forgive the entire democratic party for shivving him at the last minute so man who shits himself could be the nom

i never want to vote for any for any of those psychopaths for anything ever...

      but fuck me

      trump has to fucking go

Biden's shit and you should vote (or not vote) how you want, but I think you should vote him lol Let's not forget how sure we all were Clinton would handily beat Trump in 2016. Circumstances are different, but every vote counts. Especially after all we've seen from Trump these past 4 years, not least of all everything happening this year.

It's your choice, obviously, but that's my two cents. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also, Trump is such a piece of shit. The country is going through so much shit. And for some reason he thought this is what should be done. Go back to hiding in your bunker, shitbag.

The bishop overseeing this church, disassociated themselves from this, by the way lol

@Chili Dawg that's exactly my thought process too. tbh until this whole situation happened, i was honestly not sure i was going to vote for biden or not. but after this, after today especially, i can't in good conscience not vote for him now. as much of a shitheel as biden is, at the very least, he wouldn't be doing what trump has done today. i totally understand not voting for him, but i just can't not try to vote trump out at this point

      Every *electoral vote counts.

I in no way believe as far as individual voters go, that this will be close given everything including this week that’s been happening. It’s gonna be by a wide margin either trump or Biden wins.

And if Biden ends up winning by a ton (which is seemingly likely with every passing day) without my vote, are people still gonna mad I didn’t vote for him?

i ain't gonna vote shame, you, fam, just giving my piece, you follow your heart

no one's obligated to vote for anyone, if biden fails it is entirely due to democrats sucking, and if he succeeds it is entirely due to trump sucking

but from my own perspective, i would rather he not fail because much as democrats deserve a harsh lesson, the rest of us schmucks don't deserve 4 more years

Even if Bernie didn't get the nomination, can't you still vote for him? Fuck the "throwing away your vote," if you can vote for him, everyone should.

If not, damn it. Whether it's Biden or Trump, doesn't matter, y'all need to sort your shit.

    8. KHCast

I was always gonna vote 3rd party or green tbh with regards to these two candidates, I just figured it wouldn’t matter to make that distinction since I’m frequently told that’s still “throwing away a vote or voting for trump”

    9. Polkadi~☆

It's your vote. Every vote counts, you can't "throw away" a vote.

Admittedly mass thinking of "my vote doesn't really matter so Imma do this" is part of why we ended up with Trump in the first place.

      Won't Stop, Just Go

If every vote counted then trump wouldn't be president

    12. KHCast

@Nina Cortex Jovahexeon I thought it was because of Hilary getting cocky and not pushing more in states that she needed to win, like the rust belt, resulting in electoral numbers going to trump, regardless of Hilary having the popular individual vote

I'm not sweet on Biden either, but Trumps got to go. Backhanded compliment I know, but we can't have a giant toddler throwing a tantrum over every fucking thing again. We can't have him take away more rights and enable & empower more racists. Over 100,000 US citizens are dead because of his pettiness and ineptitude.

We can't afford to not make every vote count.

    14. Polkadi~☆

Right, if you absolutely have to, then Biden is the way to go. If the party system allowed for a real choice without railroading you down the answers they want you to take, then that's called a (semi-)perfect world where you're allowed to choose any party you wanted. For now, Biden or death is the option.

@KHCastPlease note, I said "part of" the reason, not the whole hog obviously.

    16. KHCast

@Polkadi~☆ “For now, Biden or death is the option.” didn’t you just tell me I wouldn’t be wasting my vote if I voted 3rd party instead of Biden?

    17. Polkadi~☆

I know it's contradictory. I also don't know a lot about the American electorial process.

Personally, I believe that every vote should be representative of the person voting. I don't know what American voting looks like, but if you absolutely can vote outside of the two main parties, and if you still can vote for Bernie, then go ahead. Vote for Biden, even. A more accurate statement is "literally anyone else or death."

The Australian electorial process is different. You're literally voting for every party, but you're giving a top ten list of who you prefer more.

Thing is, and I hate to be more of a downer, but I honestly expect Trump to get re-elected in November. There are just so many factors working for him at this point. The Dems being splintered as hell, more idiots coming out now more than ever thanks to the nation's leader backing their sick ideals, actual manipulation, a general growth of dangerous ideals across the spectrum, ect. Add in that 2020 itself definitely hasn't been one to pull punches in terms of shit events and... yeah, I just don't have any real hope at this point.

Everyone says "this has to be the turning point. There's no way he continues past this point. He's definitely done for now. No one can possibly defend this" like this isn't the same shit we've been saying since the beginning of 2016. I really don't think people understand just how stubborn and deceivingly big his base actually is. Not to mention their ability to actually mobilize as a unit.

i think trump has a bigger shot at reelection then many people would like to admit or believe, and as much as i want him to lose, i have been mentally preparing myself for his win since super tuesday...

but we gotta do it, as a nation we must in no uncertain terms, tell this man who has never been held accountable for anything, you're fired

      The KKM

Honestly more scared of Biden winning, because I can't help but see things immediately going into "we won! now we can stop caring about all this shit and injustice, we got a democrat in and trump out" by the liberal majority

While Trump's in things are shit but while things are shit people are actually fighting against that

EDIT: that said I expect Biden to likely win, and can only hope when that happens people will keep fighting for better conditions and against both GOP and DEM rather than just going "we did it gang, the orange is out"
