  1. Assuming the PS5 and Project Scarlet launch around the same time, say November, next year, are any of you planning on jumping to next-gen then or are you holding off for a bit?

The Switch was my first day one console so I'm gonna wait and see. The backwards compatibility on either will definitely be a big temptation if they came through. Would compensate for a weaker launch line-up.

Absolutely dependent on the games. I might jump right away, but only if I'm really tempted by what they have to show.

Jumping in head on at a console’s launch is always a bad idea, mainly because of the numerous issues consoles usually have around that time, not to mention the section of launch titles is usually pretty lackluster. I’ll probably just hold them off for a month or two, before getting either system (most likely the PS5, cuz I was always more of a Playstation guy.)

I may jump to PS5 if that rumour about it being completely back-compatible turns out to be true.

the list of games that could get me to buy a PS5, day one, begins and ends with Bloodborne 2.

I'm probably jumping on with the PS5 for Christmas.

I'm gonna have to wait another decade before I upgrade again. I'm always behind because of money issues.

I just bought a Switch this year, so likely not

Putting aside that I usually never have enough money for new consoles at launch, I'm probably gonna hold off on the purchase anyway.

Though if the PS5 does manage to have full compatibility with PS4 AND PS3 games at launch, then I may be tempted to get one sooner than later.
